DJ Hecktic was amazing to work with for our wedding! If you want someone who can play any number of genres for your wedding or party, and do it with style and grace then this is your DJ! I was overwhelmed with the wedding process to say the least but Josh was so patient with me and was able to play all of the songs I selected at just the right moment of his choosing- I had no plan but for the father daughter dance and bride and groom- but leaving the professional to figure out the rest was the right choice because everything else turned out amazing, acoustic music during dinner/cocktail hour with a smooth transition into the dance party! Josh made our day so special by setting the right mood for each and every special moment and we are so grateful to him for that!!!!

My wife and I highly recommend DJ Heckitk for your wedding or event! We hired Josh (DJ Hecktik) for our wedding on 9/12/21 and absolutely loved him. Our wedding couldn’t have been any better and Josh played a huge part in it.

My wife put me in charge of picking the DJ so I made sure my research for a perfect DJ was thorough. After my first call with Josh, I could tell he was the perfect fit for the biggest day of our lives. He seemed very professional, outgoing, and passionate about his profession. He answered all of the questions that I had, understood what we wanted from him, and was confident he could deliver.

Wedding Day: Josh and his assistant, Chino (Juan), were all set up on time and were playing the prelude music we requested. Chino quickly set me up with the lapel mic and before I knew it, my wife was walking down the aisle toward me to a special song we requested. Everything lined up perfectly the whole night. Josh was such a good MC! He announced everything exactly how and when we wanted. We had a little surprise celebration for my parents’ 40th anniversary and Josh did a great job at announcing it and queuing their first dance song perfectly. After dinner, dances, and speeches, the dancing began and it did not stop until closing time. He played a wide range of music but everything we were hoping for, 2.5 hours of non-stop dancing with all of our closest people!

We are 2 weeks into marriage now and all of our family, friends, and my wife and I cannot stop talking about how much fun the day was and how seamless the entire wedding was. It truly was a perfect day, and it wouldn’t have been the same without DJ Hecktik.

Josh, thank you so much for helping make our day so special and for giving us so many special moments to look back on! Chino, thanks for helping set up all the equipment and for helping throughout the night! If we ever need to hire a DJ again, we know who to go to.

DJ Hecktik did the music at our wedding in June of 2016 and he did an amazing job! The dance floor was packed the entire time. He played a great variety of music that made everyone at our wedding want to get out of their seats and on the dance floor. He also MC'd the wedding and did an awesome job at that as well. We got married on 4/8/17 and DJ Hecktik helped make our wedding incredible! Josh was recommended to us and was also on the preferred vendor list at our venue. From the beginning, he was extremely nice, humble, and professional. He provided us an account to share our wedding agenda, song requests, etc. using his extensive music database and it was all quite easy.

Josh came to our rehearsal, was always prompt, and definitely put our minds at ease. And of course, our ceremony and reception went flawlessly. He even came up with a cool idea of a DJ reveal behind the curtains on the stage, which had a really cool effect and got people up dancing. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, just as we had wanted! Josh expertly wove our requested songs in with crowd pleasers that matched our style and preferences. A perfect night. We had our reception in July of 2017 and Josh/Dj Hecktik made it so fun! Our party was a little different. We got married on New Year's and had our party the following July. I was worried about the music and that people wouldn't be interested... especially with our family! In a crowd full of mostly "non-dancers," he still managed to get us up dancing, including my grandfather which was really special! The flow was fantastic and the vibe was perfect!
