Must stop Record Shop! Always leaving with 2-3 gems and the selection is continuously diversifying. I've picked everything from all rock, jazz, world, house and eclectic vinyl you dreamed of holding in person. Their must be vortex in this shopping complex because the vibes are immaculate

Hands down my favorite record store in AZ! Michael and John are experts and swell fellas, been buying from and selling to them for years. They pay the best for records, yet price them to sell at a fair price. Double Nickels is damn unicorn in the record store world.

Nice to be able to leave a review here as well as at Ghost of Eastside. This is my favorite record store in the Phoenix area. Prices are totally reasonable, staff know their stuff, the variety is dizzying. They're constantly buying and trading, so you never know what you'll find--it often feels like a totally different store each time I go. Last time I was in there, they were talking all excitedly about going to the Corey Feldman concert next month while playing some crazy cd by him on the stereo. I need more of this in my life.

One of the best to do it in Az. Mike is probably the most knowledgeable person on records I’ve ever met. They almost always have heavy hitters. Always a highlight of my week to stop in and see what’s in the bins. An essential stop for any hardcore record collector. Shop small, support local.

A friend of mine and I stumbled across this place as I usually come to the area for the smoke shop and thrift store, as well as the local art. The owner of this place was extremely chill. A huge record and CD selection; along with some awesome name brand and vintage clothing items that you wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else. The prices are great too! The owner has two dogs he lets hang out with him; they’re his mascots. They were really awesome too. Overall, I love the vibe this shop had and knowledge the owner possessed. If I could give this place 100 stars I would. I will definitely be back.

this is my favorite used record store around! Mike is the owner and is extremely knowledgeable in music. Real cool guy and very friendly and approachable. His selection is unbelievable. Great stuff and very fair prices in my opinion. I Have been a customer now for about four years and whenever I'm in the area, I always pop in. He's also very fair about trade-ins and giving you a good price on each individual record. Not like Zia records where they give you $0.40 for a copy of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. This is the only place to go for used vinyl. Great place.

Forget Zia, come check this place out. Worth mentioning that it is MOSTLY vinyl records. There are a lot of rarities and gems to browse in here - and very reasonably priced. This shop is best suited for anyone who has ever said "I wish Zia wouldn't stock 3 trillion copies of the new Beck record and make room for actual good stuff." It's here at Double Nickels. That's where the good stuff is. ?

It's not the tidiest place in the world... but do you really want it to be?
