Came in to sell some records and the owner was so nice! She gave us a much better deal for our worth than other nearby record stores. Definitely recommend going there!

I just called the store but when they picked up I didn’t hear anyone answer. Then suddenly a woman’s voice said “Are you going to speak?” But I said “Hello?” almost at the same time then when she realized what she did she asked “How may I help you?” very quickly and aggressively. It caught me off guard and it made it difficult for me to respond, so I said “Uhhh…Never mind I think I’m going to hang up” and she yelled “You called us! How may I help you?” Then immediately hung up.

This was such a strange and disappointing interaction. I was just going to ask them if they wanted to be a vendor for my pop up market, but obviously with that kind of poor customer service, I don’t even want to shop there.

UPDATE: Referring to her response to my review— she literally shared my phone number to try to force me to take down my review, and she just gave me a passive aggressive response and immediate blame. Regardless of whether my initial call was for business, I was a potential customer. I collect vinyl and love to support other small businesses— that is the whole point of my market.

I didn’t even blame the fact that I couldn’t hear her on her, I very much am aware it could have been my phone or bad service.

Whether I am B2B or B2C, your attitude remains to be rude.

Kelly at East County vinyl is the best! I’m in there about once a week/every two weeks and she always greets me by name, remembers what I bought last time and asks how I liked them. She gives me personal recommendations (which are spot on!). She also has a good return policy if the record doesn’t work out (just leave the tag on). Her prices can’t be beat and she’s great to chat with. Would give 6 stars if I could!

My go to record store when I’m looking for new vinyl. Kelli is always upbeat and quick to help you with whatever you might need. Since I found this spot, I hardly go anywhere else. I have to say at least 3/4 of my collection came directly from her. Her instagram is updated daily with the new arrivals that will be available the next day and I really appreciate the effort she puts in to keep not only my myself but other vinyl collectors coming back. I swear I was almost coming in everyday buying new records because that’s how good of a selection she has. If you are ever in the area, this is definitely a shop you should check out!

I learned about East County Vinyl when I moved into the neighborhood about a year ago. Since then this place has become my absolute favorite place to get my hands on rare vinyl. There's always a rotating assortment and you never know what will pop up which is fantastic. The prices are reasonable, the quality is impeccable and I appreciate that Kelly doesn't play favorites among the repeat customers. I enjoy picking out my records and browsing through the goodies in the warehouse.

I absolutely love this place. They sell old and new vinyls, with an amazing selection to choose from. Their prices are fair, and the owner has always been helpful when I go in. I bought my first vinyl from this place back in 2017 ( a Sir-Mix-A-Lot Vinyl ), and It's been my favorite shop ever since

Best record store in East County!! Great selection with new albums (new and used) coming in daily. Fair prices, and especially good classic rock, country, and jazz selections. Top-tier service with a smile and good conversation to top it off!
