Beautiful outdoor venue. Excellent sound and display. Somewhat reminiscent of the Rady Shell Amphitheater, like a miniature version of it. We went to a Christmas Carol Celebration, found seating near the back, and were able to bail early easily 🙌

The sound from this amphitheater was awesome as we heard the Cream of Clapton band. I would recommend though to bring seat cushions if you don't like sitting on concrete. Some of the seats also don't have a backrest. Parking was free for this event but we heard this is not always the case.

Generally nice venue. Concrete seats (or wood slats if you’re lucky) so bring your own soft cushion as long as it doesn’t have metal parts. Lawn isn’t bad but quite steep. Sound is good. Views usually are good too

The wife and I have longed for 4 yrs to see Gregory Porter live and we weren't disappointed. His amazing voice coupled with with the beautiful accompaniment of the equally talented musicians on stage with him, transported you to a place that warmed your heart with the message of love. This remarkable evening was hosted at the Epstein Family Amphitheater, which provided us with the sense of an intimate evening with Gregory Porter.
This venue has all the right ingredients for a pleasant visit, easy access to and from the freeway, ample adjacent parking, intimate setting, clean restrooms, security.

What a fantastic outdoor venue on the UCSD campus. Bought parking with the tickets, so that was hassle-free. We had lawn seats, but the seating is mixed and they rent cushions at the site (with backs and without). The margarita at the bar was really good! And one of the snack bars has yummy cookies. Lawn seat ticket holders should consider bug repellent, we had those re-usable wrist/ankle bracelets and used them. Lawn seats cannot bring chairs of any height, but there are a few tables and chairs at the top of the grassy hill if you prefer. We saw a talk by George Takei and John Cho, which was epic. The venue made it better! (Despite the loud planes-they had to pause several times.) We will definitely check what's here regularly. Also, a huge bonus and super cool, UCSD students get in FREE.

Awesome venue! Beautiful sound, open set up with friendly staff, and clean modern bathrooms. Parking signage was super helpful (since the pre-show info was lacking a bit). I would like to see more of a variety of food/beverage vendors, more clear parking instructions beforehand (signage was great the day of), and announcements about when the bar/show is closing. Otherwise, it's a wonderful venue worth checking out. It's like a mini Shell 😄

This is a great place for Live Events, very modern and cozy for being an outdoor Amphitheater, easy to get around and find your assigned seats, very nice and clean. Exceptional sound system.
