I love this place and the employees. Very satisfied with Erika records services and the high quality of their finished product. They let us sit in and watch how the vinyl is made from start to finish. As a vinyl D.J. this by far was one of the best days of my life. It was better than losing my virginity for the 3rd time. Absolute disgrace of a company. Avoid this place at all costs.

The test pressing were distorted, had massive volume fluctuations, and channel drop outs; yet, the office manager insisted that they were flawless. After notifying them about the errors, they aggressively accused me lying and said that it was because of my gear. Cleary they do not do quality control because after just one second of listening to the pressing, anyone would be able to hear that they were defective. Only after sending them three videos, on three different turntables, and providing a waveform rip, did they admit that they erred.

After 9 months of correspondence and no product, I requested a refund, which they did not grant. The second round of test pressings were also flawed, but I had no choice but to run them or lose my money.

Also, I was told (in writing) that a custom matrix etch was free of cost, but after the run, they charged me for it.

The final product was cut lopsided, printed uneven, and covered in streaks and greasy fingerprints. When I brought this up to them, their response was “that’s just industry standard.”

Since, working with them, I have heard countless horror stories about this company. These people do not care about their clients, especially independent artists.

Erika Records are lowlife con artists.

I stumbled in thinking this was a record shop. Rather than immediately being sent on my way, the staff welcomed me to look around at their awesome record walls and learn about the pressing process. This pressing plant is very inviting and I hope to bring them some work if I ever record my songs.
