I live in Fort Morgan. We had 2 young couples come just to go to the oyster festival this weekend. They drove 4 hours (one way), paid $200 for tickets and never got food. The people in line in front of them said they had not moved an inch in half an hour. People near the front of the line were telling them over 3 hours to get to the food table and they left. They wasted $200. If you want to continue this festival you definitely need to reconfigure EVERYTHING. I felt so bad for my guests. After blowing $200 they had to go to a restaurant and pay for their lunch again.

Waited in line for three hours only to get to the end to be told, “no fried oysters for general admission….only VIP”. I asked about this, and was told it was on the website. I went back to the website and I could not find anywhere where it said fried oysters were only for VIP. All food was cold and there were 2 volunteers that were frustrated as well. When we got to the end of the line, we had to wait another 30 minutes for more oysters to be brought out. This is not worth driving 5 hours for. Do NOT bother. Absolutely not worth the 120 we paid. I’ll buy my own oysters and fry them. The only redeeming quality was the entertainment. He did a great job.

Very underwhelming. Me and my family showed up Saturday for Oyster fest (2024), and even though we showed up before the gates were open we were still forced to stand in line for an hour and a half before we even got to eat. It was very unorganized, hundreds of people were forced to wait standing in line because there was only one small area to actually get the food and the line moved painfully slow. It was supposed to be "All you can eat oysters", but it was actually "wait for hours in line and get all you can grab in one go, because youre not gonna make it back through the line again before the event is over oysters". Definitely not worth the $120 I spent on two tickets. Would not recommend until they figure out how to organize an event.

We got early bird tickets for Sunday afternoon and had a great experience at the festival! We walked right up to the buffet tent, had all the oysters we could eat as well as lots of sides. All the food was fresh and staff was so welcoming. We watched the corn hole tournament, listened to the band and found nice things at the craft show. They even had shuttles taking us to and from parking areas. We were impressed by the whole event and will come again next year.

I've been looking all over to get a refund for this event. We drove over 4 hours JUST for this event. We got there around 1130 and people were leaving HOLLERING how bad it was. Lots of people said they'd been in line for hours and those who had a plate said we wish we could have gotten what we paid for...... I hate it was a bust I was looking forward to this event for months.

Wish there was a no star. Complete waste of money. All you can eat oysters? B.S.!!! Try wait in line all day. They should be ashamed for taking my money. I got no oysters, huge disappointment. Theft is what it was.

Absolutely terrible and zero organization. Complete debacle. We stood in line for almost an hour then decided to leave. Wasted $120 for NOTHING. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.

Not worth the money or time. We stood in line for 45 minutes to get our food. Had very little nonseafood items for those of us who are not seafood lovers.
