They are definitely about the money and the ceo is a huge jerk! He doesn't even have the decency to meet with people in person and they take you to a room to be interviewed with him over zoom. He thinks he's God and very disrespectful. There agents go to the malls and pick out your kids talking to them about a modeling career. You pretty much pay to be under a huge tent with a stage and photographers. They said they would send us the pictures and never received anything. They had a dj that was literally playing music that had a girl having an organism. How uncomfortable is that when your sitting with a bunch of young girls. Why would they play that with so many young beautiful girls there. That really passed me off that I paid for such a horrible experience. Protect your kids at all cost!

Don't waste your money! If I could give a negative rating I would. We get there and find out the agents are only looking for models 18 years old and up, even though they say in the advertisement its 14 and up.They also said they are looking for "ethnic looking" models.That's perfectly fine, but why not let the parents know this before they waste thousands of dollars on the entry fees and hotel and travel expenses? Our daughter was definitely one of the top 5 there, but is only 14, so she got nothing out of this except a few photos and a little instruction on walking down a runway. Come in, how hard is it to walk down a runway? Pathetic! I'm not just a biased father that's mad his daughter didn't get a call back, even though she was the most attractive girl there.Heck, she's won almost every beauty pageant she's ever entered, I'm ticked off on how they went about doing it. Waiting until they collected everyone's money, then tell them they want Asian and African American girls because they were looking for more "diversity". I'm sure there are other non ethnic parents that would've liked to have known this too before shelling out all this money on this poorly run event. BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

My daughter was a freshman in high school when she was signed by a large modeling agency in FL and a local agency in LA by attending one of FMI Expo. She had a few modeling jobs and really enjoyed the experience.
