Went here on Sunday to catch some live music while the weather was nice. What a cool spot!

The city is so awesome for having these venues and having live music that the public can just check out. There are lots of benches facing the stage, so plenty of places to sit. It didn't feel overcrowded. It's also a dog friendly place, so basically heaven. 🐕

There were lots of people around skateboarding and generally hanging out while the music was going on. I recommend bringing some food and/or drinks while you enjoy the show.

I'm definitely going to keep my eye on the events that happen here - they seem like they are varied and happen often. Overall, a great way to spend the day if the weather is nice and you want to enjoy the park.

What a wonderful space! The music sounded amazing in the Bandshell. The park staff was incredibly helpful and skilled. The grounds were beautiful and comfortable. Perfect experience!

Loved hearing live reggae music. It was very nice. Everybody got along. Everybody was happy. There were many kids and it was very safe and we loved spending the day in the park.

Plenty of space & seating to enjoy the space. Clean restrooms just behind the stage. We've been enjoying Crucial Reggae Sundays. Free music in the park is a great way to spend an afternoon!

If you can get a show here, do it. Great stage great sound great lights. Playing here on Wednesday evening with Pirate Radio recently was incredible. Check out the Illuminate concert series.

I went for the awesome Reggae party hosted by Jah Warrior Hi-fi Shelter every Sunday from 4:20-7 pm, and it DID NOT disappoint! ❤️💛💚

The only state park I have ever stayed in where I was the only person staying there. No ranger, host was in and out, no other campers. $35 with electric and old shower house (did have hot water). It must be a half mile walk to the river beach.
