This was an unplanned airport return. My Uber and Lyft options were excessive. So I explored the bus option. $51 plus a $35 Uber to the bus stop still wasn’t half the price of the lowest Uber option. So I pulled the trigger. Bought the ticket easily online and it generates an email with a scannable code for the bus agent. I pulled up to the stop which for me was a hotel lobby and the bus arrival was timely. The driver was friendly and handled my bag.The bus was a coach with bathroom but no WiFi. There were outlets for a block charger. I did leave slightly earlier from my starting point than planned with a direct Uber trip but it was about 20-30 mins longer than a direct airport run to make one stop. The driver was friendly and gave announcements to keep us informed. The seats were ok comfortable but I sat in the back which was too bumpy. Not recommended to sit there. A good option if you are not liking the Uber pricing. Got me there timely and safely. Aside from no wifi as promoted on the website and the seats not being as comfortable as a car, it was fine.

Groome Transportation is the best. Ive taken Groome from Santa Rosa to SFO and OAK ever since they switched from Airport express and have had reliable transportation. The one time that there was a unforeseen problem, Tony from the Windsor Office made it right and saved the day. Good company, very reliable, Great staff with integrity. 5 Stars.

Very happy with my ride from San Francisco airport to Petaluma. Very comfortable, clean bus and driver was great. Highly recommended.

Be extremely cautious using this service. They are VERY expensive and have a terrible track record when it comes to refunds. Also their phone system is routinely broken or out of service. For months, their phone system was not working, and it was impossible to reach them. They don't care if you are a regular customer. They are greedy. Keep your money and use rideshare.

Groome transportation is the best way to SFO! The bus picked us up on time and coming home the bus got us back to Sonoma Airport on time!
Next year for our vacation we will choose Groome again for our trip to SFO- if I could give 10 stars I would! Thanks,Groome!!!!!

I found the shuttle to be on time. I took it from OAK to San Rafael roundtrip. I purchased tickets online prior and did some research. It was a small bus with 4-5 passengers on it. This was cheaper than an Uber and I didn't need to rent a car.

Calling this service was encouraging... showed up at the head office and got courteous service. The 11/9/23 8:30am (Petaluma) bus driver was phenomenal! Overall experience was fantastic!

@GROOME Transportation gets 10 stars! Seriously, after 20 years I return to find Airporter Express is now GROOME. At first I was concerned and I am here to tell you from the 1st communications with this kind gentleman, @Tony Geraldo I knew I was in good hands.

This is a very special team. I was running later than Tony recommended and starting to sweat & stress. I called & Ronnie immediately put me at ease with, “no worries you’ve got plenty of time,” and added levity with her cheerful & refreshing light humor.

Once I got there I asked for Ronnie to thank her for reassuring me, which allowed me enjoy the rest of my drive there. She warmly welcomed me, very cool lady, offered coffee and on my way out said take some more kisses, (chocolate!)

Then I was fumbling with full hands and she took my bag and brought it to the bus. Who does this anymore? Not many and certainly not enough. Im OG and love good manners, consideration and that personal connection.

Then we meet Ms Rosemary and I asked her who is your boss and she told me it was Tony. He is “awesome sauce” steady eddy, aka best boss. When you work for someone like this you are spoiled.

I do not enjoy traveling 101 to either airport and Rosemary gave us a very smooth & enjoyable trip.

I love this company because of the people! Like Hertz motte “We care” well it is clear that so do they!

The parking is so easy, it’s right there.
