This is one of the coolest music stores I’ve ever seen and Guido not only knows his music history and vintage instruments but he’s also a rare breed of old school salesman who understands that the best thing for any business is a returning customer. Which means he’ll always find the best deal for you on whatever you’re looking for (sometimes even losing money in order to keep a customer happy and coming back). And that ladies and gentlemen is very hard to find nowadays!!! A kind hearted gentleman not looking to make a quick buck but build a reputation and connection.
So if you haven’t already - definitely check out this gem of a store and go buy some cool vintage guitars and amps, or have his wife setup or repair your instrument. I promise you you’ll be coming back.
They are the best.

I've always gone to this store to get new instruments, tune-ups, and guitar picks. If you're a local to Hot Springs; this is your one-stop shop for everything strings. The prices are always affordable, and the owner is extremely knowledgeable.

I love this place! I've been buying, selling and trading with Guido and his crew for over 20 years. I've thought over this review for a couple days now. Prices are really good, and a great selection of gear... But interactions with the owner were, lacking. Asking questions, then consistently cutting me off mid-sentence as I was answering, implying my answer didn't matter, doing this multiple times in a row. So... Why ask anything in the first place? It felt very, disrespectful, and confrontational, so I just left. Maybe he was having a bad day, I hope so. Regardless, I'll just buy my gear online now; No confrontations with a computer screen.

Brought a pretty neglected lanakai baritone in for new strings, picked up a beautifully conditioned, cleaned, restrung and repaired instument. Absolutely the best place to go for knowledgeable and friendly service. They are definitely string instrument specialists, and have a unique collection of rare and beautiful instruments for sale

I bought a 1949 Gibson LG3 from Guido at the Arlington Guitar Show this past weekend that he stated to be all original. Within 24 hours I discovered the bridge had been replaced which effects its value greatly. I asked for some compensation for this change & Guido refused to give me a break on price & refused to take it back. He stated "I should give him back money from our last transaction or he would do nothing for me". Is this how you want to be treated by a so called expert ? There was no offer ever made to buy back both guitars back from me at all. Never again will I be burned by Guido !

Guido is a really cool guy. Sorry I haven't bought anything yet but someday you'll have something I just can't live without. Guido worked with me on a deal for a swap, it didn't work out this time just because I didn't end up liking the guitar I wanted more than the one I had. He was very fair with his offer I feel. This shop is not your average guitar shop. Whether your buying gear or selling Guido is always fair on both end of that spectrum. Definitely my first choice to guitar shop . Y’all go check Arkansas #1 guitar shop Hot Springs Music . If it’s not your favorite guitar store . It’s probably because you havnt been there yet.
