In a lovely town full of worthy galleries, the aptly named 'Highlight Gallery' is one not to miss. Two full stories, standing by itself, it's well worth the mild uphill trek (and not even two blocks!) from crowded Main Street. Do make the trip!

I love this place! I come to Mendocino once a year, and always make sure I visit the Highlight Gallery. Everything is unique, unusual and beautiful. I look for perfect Christmas and birthday presents for the people I love most, and I find something every time. They have pottery, woodwork, glasswork, scarves, small beautiful things and more. Local artists, and really helpful (but not TOO helpful!) staff.
