I love that they are restoring this theatre. I went this summer for a movie, and the sound system was not in place. It made it hard to enjoy the movie, even though I was familiar with it.
I will go to other events & movies to see how they are progressing.
I love the feel of the old theatre!

Was nice to watch a movie at Rodgers after so many years..the place was returned to the original state so it was different than it was when I was young ..it had two different screens then and now has one..but was still a pleasant experience

Beautiful old theatre with excellent seating arrangements and very comfy seats. We loved the atmosphere here and all the work that is obviously going into its restoration. As a wheelchair user, I found it very difficult to use the aged rest rooms as there wasn't a wider stall. It was horrible crawling in and leaving my wheelchair outside. Please could the restoration team take this into consideration?
Thank you so much for a wonderful evening with Narvel Felts, he was well worth coming 4500 miles from England to see.

The Platters were in town, and they were fantastic as usual.
The Rogers is a theater that is being restored. It brings back memories of a bygone era. Times of double features, cartoons with a message, 5 cent popcorn, and 10 cent soda.
And last but not least, sitting in the balcony, getting cozy with your date.
Ah, good times!

Really enjoyed the premiere of Herd at the Rodgers. Excellent movie and the local involvement added another layer to the experience. Was quite surprised when all the local extras were listed in the credits.

So nostalgic. We love attending the Christmas movies while they restore. The very first year we went it was chilly. We noticed it was warmer this year, maybe they had heat on? It was very comfortable. Santa, Mrs clause and the grinch were there to take pictures. They had concessions that seemed reasonably priced.

Loved it. So much personality in the structure and layout. Brought back lovely memories of days gone by at theaters back home.
We were entertained by the Isaacs Family.
They were so talented. Enjoyed every minute.
