Came to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. I’m not a Potterhead, so I went in with no expectations and ended up enjoying the show. That said, I wouldn’t see it again.

There was a technical issue that caused the curtain to come down for about 10 minutes. At first, we thought it was part of the show, so everyone stayed seated. Once it became clear it wasn’t, people started leaving, only for the show to resume shortly after.

Important Tip: You have to finish your cocktail before heading to your seat. They won’t let you take it in, so you’ll either have to chug it or toss it, something I wasn’t happy about. Meanwhile, the bar has signs encouraging you to preorder intermission drinks, but keep in mind that you’ll only have a few minutes to finish them. Definitely felt like a waste of money.

I love the Pantages, but not this time.

Amazing place to see a live theater show. The staff was very friendly. The theater is modern but it has a historic feel and look to it.

Gave it a 4 star only because I thought the prices is for food and drinks were stupid expensive. Yes I expected to pay premium prices, but these prices were way too high.

I would definitely encourage anyone who wants to see a live show to come to this theater.

It's always a great experience to see a musical at the Pantages Theater. This time, it was to see Back to the Future, the musical.

It's nice to see various movie-related items set up in the lobby for photo ops. They also have a merch stand for more memorabilia.

A tip: the minute intermission starts, rush to the bathrooms to avoid lines. That means you should purchase aisle seats. Otherwise there's a long wait.

Beautiful theatre. I love the Art Deco decorations. It's the best place to see Broadway theatre in LA.
Being in Hollywood is not ideal (makes traffic, parking, and walking around harder and more expensive).

If you are into theater and Broadway I highly recommend the Pantages theater. I am a season ticket holder and love everything about this theater. We recently saw Wicked her last week and it was a sold out show. The employees were amazing and handled the crowds like it was nothing. There isn’t a bad seat in the place. So glad to be a season ticket holder and will continue to be for a long time.
