This morning we had the wonderful opportunity of seeing Elf the musical. We have seen many plays at JPAC and have enjoyed them all but this one was outstanding! The acting and music and vocals each were out of this world! Buddy’s dad offered fantastic acting! The vocals by both Buddy and Jovie were incredible. My 10 year old said- “She’s like Arianna Grande mom! She sings soooo good!” The kids each got tearful as did mom several times which speaks to the quality of the performance. Outstanding work everyone. I hope the support people and actors see this praise as they each so much credit for this one!

Beautiful theater, Josh Blue amazing & belly laugh funny.
3 stars because the ushers are rude. Asked us to move our drinks off the ledge. No problem for us to do. Apparently I wasn’t moving fast enough. She rudely said “You need to move them NOW so they don’t fall on people’s head!” Totally understandable however, be kind, don’t talk to people like children and use your manners.
It really puts a damper on the night when you have a rude start. Then looking around the seating, many other folks had their beverages on the wood rail. Be consistent or ignore the rule.

Great place to watch a show! Comfortable seating, clear sound system and good views from anywhere in the venue. Very clean and well taken care of. Nice bar with a variety of drinks. All of this in a former high school turned into apartments. I will definitely be back.

My lady and I were invited to attend a play directed by her aunt. It was very exciting, as it is the first I had been to outside the paramount in Aurora. The play was incredibly humorous, the staff were very polite. The bar had everything from water and soda, to wine and mixed drinks. A good way to spend the afternoon without breaking the bank.

Please do NOT support this theater! The staff is incredibly discourteous and unprofessional. I was told a particular show would run 90 minutes; however, it ran over 30 extra minutes without any notice to the audience during intermission. Due to the delay, I was late for an appointment and, immediately after the show, I asked an usher for directions out to the parking lot. The usher, for some unknown reason, sent my children and I down a series of corridors and out the back of the theater in 11 degree, windy weather, as far away from the parking lot as we could possibly be! I called Jim McCulloch (Educ. Dir.) to discuss the situation and was treated very rudely by him. I then left a message for Nathan Burkart (Exec. Dir.) explaining the behavior of both McCulloch and his usher and asking that Burkart contact me. However, I received no phone call from him. Finally, I wrote a letter to the Board of Directors, which was completely disregarded as well. Apparently, the Board is apathetic about its untrained and impolite directors. We will NEVER return to this theater! I noticed JPAC responded to my review and they are BLATANT LIARS! They have never returned my calls or letters! Once they discovered my negative review, then they posted a lie to pretend they made effort when they did NOT. Highly unprofessional people are running JPAC! Don't give them your money!

We went to see the Turtle Creek Chamber Orchestra and were impressed by how well everything sounded.

I was in the class that only spent half a year at this Marshall Middle School location before moving to the new school. It's neat to see it now, and I'm so glad they've continued to utilize the building!
