This small (71 seats) theater has good acoustics and we could hear the actor's dialog well. There are two unisex bathrooms that are quite spacious but more stalls are needed to accommodate more people at one time.

This historic building is worth an exploration if you get the chance to attend an event or gallery showing. Once a library, the renovated venue is home to a 72 seat theater that shows plays 4 times a year by a local group called River City Players. Often you will find musicians and artists being hosted for their shows. The basement doesn't have public access throughout, but a local art group meets twice a week to paint. When I was a kid, the rooms intertwined and made a scary haunted house.

In the summer we went for a production of barefoot in the park today I went to see the production of Ebenezer. Great staff, good acting, creative, backdrops, up close in personal live theater. I believe the theater only holds 70 people get tickets to see your favorite show and you will not be disappointed. They also do a 50-50 drawing during each production. Cash only Larimer arts Center is, a historical building with beautiful details.

Palatka Art Council has free showings just about each month. I enjoy seeing the different artists style There is also a free snack table for guests. I have purchased several art pieces for my home I recommend anyone who enjoys various art styles that this would be a great venue

We were eating at Angels drive thru and saw the art center across the street. We couldn't resist and dropped by around 3pm. Everyone was super nice , and the studio basement was definitely a great place to have some creative fun. If you are the least bit interested in drama and art , give it a shot. My daughter is 10yrs Old and loves art. Who doesn't? You can't beat the $ cost, I've traveled all over and this place is a non profit, so even if you can't afford to pay, your still welcome. What a hidden gem in Palatka, FL. The building is all grey, so it's easy to miss if your driving by. Twinkle lights would be pretty all year round!!Thanks to Luke Taft, I now have a new appreciation for impressionism. So, whether you just would like an art class, or can donate supplies and time. Give Larimer art a try.
