Honestly I havw been coming here for 8 years and never had such rude service in my life. Just standing behind me when I was trying to finish writing my documents as it was closing I still had a minute left on my hour of time and they asked me on multiple occasions to leave. It's completely disrespectful to a human being who is trying to finish a document.

A great place to take the kids and immerse them in books. Lots of activities for small kids. And they helped me sign up for the Libby app

The Livermore library is an amazing resource to everyone in this community. It is contemporary, well built, clean and staffed very well. I've lived in communities where a library was a trailer with some torn up magazines as reading material. I've rented the Community Room to hold classes for students and community and it is a technologically up to date facility with very nice tables and chairs as well as screen and projector. My school age son has benefited immensely from the books, telescopes, toys, and even a ukelele available for check out. Don't hesitate to stop into the on campus cafe either...The Daily Grind. Smells good as soon as you walk in!

Great place to sit down and get some work done!! Their cafe is a very nice touch as its the only library I've been in that has food, and it makes me want to normalize it haha. Its very spacious and there is lots of material all around. I recommend sitting at one of the tables near the windows to get work done as the vineyards are a pleasant view and having natural sunlight come in helps with the mood! The staff is also very nice and helpful and it's overall my favorite place to get work done as its unmatched locally.

The ambience is conducive to focusing study. The serene atmosphere and comfortable seating options with study rooms creates an inviting space for productivity. This library is relatively quiet making it ideal for concentration, yet if doesn’t feel overly sterile.

Tried applying for a library card and they said I owed a couple hundred dollars. I have not used a Livermore public library since I was a 'young' (<10) child in like 2006-2008 mind you. The charge was for like 2 books that were never returned. I explained I don't even think that was me because there are multiple people in my family with the same first and last name at our same address. They said there was nothing I can do unless I pay that amount and I reiterated there was no way to be sure that was me. They end up giving me no fair recourse, I'm not paying for someone else's fines in the hundreds.
