I recently went in to this store and had one of the best customer service interactions I've probably ever had. I called to ask if there was a studio monitor amplifier available, and, I believe the employee's name was Forrest, told me that they had a few amplifiers that matched my request. He went back to double check so that I knew before I even took the drive from Santa Rosa and confirmed that they had a few models in my price range. I then get to the store and he takes each one out of the rack mounted storage and shows them to me and describes their features and price range. Turns out I liked on of the models and was almost ready for my purchase. Then I asked about a studio monitor switcher and he looked through several locations in the store to see if they had one like I described. It turned out that they had one in the studio monitor room and it matched my exact needs. He was a very kind and knowledgeable employee and I wanted to write him a review because I told him I would. Everything ended up working perfectly and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. I'm going to continue shopping here as my default for any audio equipment needs. Thanks, Forrest.

I was helping DJ a friend's wedding and didn't trust that I would have a clear line of sight for the wireless mic I had at the venue's unique location, so I stopped by to see about a backup. They had already rented their mics out (it was last minute so I wasn't shocked), but what DID shock me was how helpful they were. The associate, Sean was super knowledgeable, and asked me more about what I was trying to accomplish. He and his co-worker got me a setup that they turned into a rental and was the most perfect system for what I needed it for (effectively turning what I thought would be a backup solution to a primary solution). The mic was crisp, no cutouts and made the ceremony (and speeches) flawless so that the moment was about what was being said and not how it sounded. That one transaction made me a loyal customer!

Big THANK YOU to Billy Garouette at Loud and Clear music in Cotati. While cleaning my 35-year old guitar, I broke the volume knob --- just slightly important when playing Van Halen tunes, like Cathedral and Romeo Delight. Billy spent all day figuring out how to swap available parts with the existing circuit board and restore full functionality. And not only that, he added a cosmetic touch that only the most VH of VH aficionados would appreciate. Above and beyond, my man. Thank you!

Great place to go for new and old equipment. I came in specifically to look for a little amp for my ukulele. I was looking for one that could run off of AC and also had a rechargeable battery. They had a few new Roland models but the battery option was standard alkaline. Found a used Crate Limo which was exactly what I was looking for. The staff was attentive and pretty knowledgeable.

It sometimes feels like the era when we could just walk into a store with everything you need and helpful folks to walk you through the options has vanished forever, but Loud and Clear is holding out, the last bastion of a bygone era when we made sounds with vibrating instruments and could buy them where somebody cares. I love this little, old place in this little, old town.

A great full service store for gear needs. They carry a large selection of pre-owned guitars, amps, and keyboards, and you can try before you buy. New stuff also. Prices are very competitive. Friendly, no hassle service. Recommended.
