This theater is ran by the LA City Theater commission and it is absolutely one of those worst theaters that have been to in Los Angeles County. The staff is over words, under managed, and undertrained I have worked with Michael Ricks and I have to say that it's been one of the most difficult situations CBN when the Theatre staff is not willing to help you out. I have been to so many different theaters here in Los Angeles and around the world and this is by far the shadiest and most undermining find professional group that I've ever seen. There are some of the staff that you was a help but those are few and far between. Overall we had to bring in our own sound crew and had to relight on their "house lighting plot" got some great pictures.

My Beautiful Niece performed today 6/26/2022 as a violinist. She did an excellent job. The theater was very clean and nice. The AC was very comfortable and cold enough without frozen us up even thought the temperature outside was over 100 F (Los Angeles, CA). Anyhow, the place was comfortable, the sit were clean and comfortable. And the stage was high enough for us to see the performance. The sound was also acceptable. Lovely place. I will return for sure.

My family and me went to see Mariachi and Coco and it was so cool! A few years ago they had Baile folklórico and I think in this occasion it was the only thing that was missing. It was the last even before closing for renovations and I hope that they do something like that but even bigger and with more food for the grand reopening!! I hope!
I love the Madrid Theatre!

Love the neighborhood Theatre space and all its players. The stage, its lighting and balcony space makes this an awesome place.

My one star not given in my rating is because parking is not great and the theatre designer forgot to include permanent costume racks or space for portable ones in the two large awesome dressing rooms complete with showers and handicap bathrooms.

I've loved the Madrid since they started digging a hole for it. It deserves 10 stars.

OMG This was the most horrific "entertainment" event of my long life. It doesn't matter if the play was good, or the actors were good or the voices were amazing, because the sound system was so bad and the sound person (if there was one) was so clueless that everyone wanted to leave BEFORE intermission to avoid the physical pain in the ears as well as the mental pain of trying to watch a play with either no sound or extremely loud sound or a mix where one actor was ungodly loud and his partner you couldn't hear at all.We stayed because our friend was in the play, so I know it didn't improve as we had hoped it would. If this experience had been free it would have been overpriced. Our ears hurt terribly and this place should be ashamed of themselves. It felt like a scam to get people to pay and go to supports their friends and family with no real expectation of delivering a quality product. I think the actors and audience were scammed and this place should close. If you go, take earplugs.
