Mage is amazing! She is teaching my 6 year old, very rambunctious, daughter how to play piano. She is incredibly personable, knowledgeable, kind and patient. She has helped my daughter come out of her shell. My daughter has progressed through many beginner songs better than I could have imagined and I don’t think anyone else could have managed and taught her as well as Mage has. Highly recommend her to anyone of any age at any stage of learning.

Ms Mage is a highly professional, extremely qualified artist who uses her knowledge to teach her students, young and old, about music. She is not just your “normal” music teacher. She is a true artist that also happens to be an EXCELLENT teacher. She has the right amount of patience, teaching experience, and kindness to help students learn their favorite instrument. Mage is a wonderful free spirited teacher. She is very patient and relatable and I always look forward to our sessions. She makes learning fun and for the first time in my life, I have been able to see actual improvements in my skills of playing guitar which I didn’t see with my previous instructors. Excellent attention to the finer points of guitar playing, Mage easily conveys to the student what they need to focus on to achieve their goals, one step at a time. As a bonus, she teaches the written language of music, and how to transform what one reads on a sheet of music into beautiful sounds. Not too many teachers have advanced educational degrees in music, but Mage does, and this is a key point.

I feel Linda has many good qualities as a teacher and a person. In addition to being very talented, she is also very kind & friendly, patient, flexible, fair and reasonably priced. I am a 50 something piano student and I get discouraged. I really appreciate how she helps me to keep my goal in sight and gently brings me back when I feel dissatisfied with my progress. My daughter is also taking guitar lesson with her and she is very upbeat and encouraging with her as well. So to sum up, I think she is a good teacher not only because she really knows her craft but because she is a great person too!
