My all-time favorite bar! Beyond the exceptional service and live music every Friday and Saturday night, Matt’s Saloon shines with its ability to bring great people together for a great time. Matt’s stays true to our roots here in Prescott while also welcoming everyone as our town continues to grow. From sponsoring many events including the Prescott Rodeo and NYE Boot Drop, Matt and his team are always dedicated to serving our community. Matt’s is truly the glue of Whiskey Row and an absolute gem in Prescott. You haven’t truly experienced Prescott until you’ve danced the night away at Matt’s!

Second time here, and the place is as great as always. Atmosphere was excellent, beer & liquor choices are top notch. Our bartenders name was Sierra and she was great. I highly recommend this Saloon if you find yourself in the area!

Take a stroll down Whiskey Row in Prescott AZ and stop into Matt’s Saloon. One of the last real honky tonks.
Belly up to the bar and enjoy a cold one, it’s dog friendly during the day. I wouldn’t suggest bringing a dog it when it’s hoppin with people and music!
Whiskey Row is a must when visiting Prescott.

Atmosphere was good love live country music and vibe would’ve spent more time and money here if it was not a cash only bar and ATM in facility charges $6 . Other that was a fun time if you want t to stay long and chill just make sure you have cash only .

I was familiar with the band they had on, Chauncey Jones was fantastic as always when he performs. Sadly, the dancing here is atrocious compared to bars in Tucson and Phoenix. Absolutely no floor etiquette from other patrons along with a lack of space to begin. If you want good music and a fun environment its alright, but that's it.

Matt’s Saloon has an amazing atmosphere, great bartenders and a dance floor with live bands on Friday and Saturday nights. It’s the place to be! We always have such a great time with many laughs.

Security wasn’t paying attention and was talking to someone/ looking at their phone. I wasn’t even sure he worked there so I walked in. As I’m going to the bar top, ID in hand, I see/hear the bartender yelling at security. The Security guard then grabbed me hard on the shoulder from behind while simultaneously pulling on some of my hair and told me “you can’t just walk past me.” as if I sneaked in and I said “you were on your phone” and all he said was “nah you’re good,” and he went back to the front door. Security there is reactive instead of proactive and initiates physical contact with guests to begin interactions.

The bartenders are great. Strong drinks that have a great price. The bar and atmosphere are amazing. Go here if you want to have a good night.
