I’ve recently worked with Maven Recruiting and found them interesting as they seem to be of women empowerment type of company so I was assigned with Monique Stewart.
Once assigned with her I was so excited to grow and learn and get a good opportunity to work… though as time goes there was no progress. Two times I had to follow up instead of being the one updated. Then, when I was informed on a job opportunity and I respectfully declined it was not for me to grow in skills (who knew my previous work experience as they have my resume) kept pushing for that opportunity. It left a bad impression and it made me uncomfortable especially when people force things on me.
Now the final straw was when I followed up that 2nd time about any updates on job opportunities… all I was sent was Maven’s job opportunities list to keep an eye out on. It felt lazy and a slap on the face like “hey, find the job yourself. I don’t want to do it.”
Overall… the thought of Maven’s potential seemed great though it didn’t reach mine and it greatly disappoints me.
