McK's Tavern is great place to eat. I have never been there when it wasn't bustling. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. I noticed pet companions with customers in the outdoor area.

The menu offers traditional, hearty, Irish fare, but also 1/2 pound hamburgers. Check out the specials on Sundays and Thursdays. Their food is delicious!

There is diagonal street parking in front, but abundant public parking in rear of the building. There is also a rear entrance.

The one aspect that I didn't care for was self seating. There was quite a few people waiting. I didn't want to be rude, but felt the need to be assertive to obtain a table. People would walk right past us to a table if a party was about to leave.

Regardless, I go back because I enjoy the atmosphere and good food.

This was my first visit to this establishment. I went with a group of friends. There was no wait but they were extremely busy. It’s a seat yourself restaurant. The wait for the waitress didn’t take long at all. We all had a few adult beverages while we waited for our meals to arrive. The atmosphere was festive. The ppl seemed friendly enough. The restrooms were very clean but out of paper products due to the volume of customers…The food was delish & the portions of the food was much larger than expected. There’s so many items to choose from in the menu. I forgot to post the menu but it’s available online on their website. I highly recommend this place & I’ll definitely be going back there to try the rest of the dishes! (Shepherds pie, bangers & mash, fish & chips, chili, diff types of hamburgers, Irish eggrolls, etc.) Yum!

Tried the “$6” burger yesterday. It’s actually not a $6 because you only get 2 buns and a patty when you order it. To eat an actual “burger”, you need to add stuff. I ended up paying $11 by adding mushrooms, pickles, grilled onions, Gorgonzola cheese, boom sauce and fries.

Vibe is good, music is not too loud to have a conversation with your friends.

Cobb Salad nothing short of PERFECTION!
Kindness and attention to detail from the young lady who took my order over the phone and worked the bar. very inviting, warm atmosphere with great energy.
Also noticed how clean it was and love the red bar stools.
Can’t wait to go back and eat here!!!

We liked this place so much we returned the next night with a different group of friends! The different egg rolls were phenomenal. Definitely try the Reuben one!! The pictures don't do them justice. The Guinness stew was wonderful, and the rotating blonde beers were awesome. They had Blackberry our first night - so tasty we took home a growler and were glad we did because they sold me the last one available the next night. Check them out if you get a chance!

Most local visitors don’t know about the historic side to Daytona Beach. Super cute downtown area with restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this place. Delicious food, huge portions, and large bar drinks. Prices are better than by the beach and the restaurant looked well kept and new inside.

Beers were bold and flavorful staff was warm and welcoming food was well above the area when a place states they have made in house chicken tenders I usually am skeptical but this place was amazing and the short rib was tender and flavorful all in all will definitely recommend

This is a nice little tavern. The staff was great. The food was served hot and ready. We had chicken strips, french dip, hamburger and then Mac and Cheese. I'd definitly say get the hamburger and french dip. Their tator tots are pretty good also. It is in a nice historic building with plenty of parking and has a pretty cool park across the street.
