So here’s what I have been dealing with this past week. I wasn’t going to do this publicly but at this point I don’t really care. I have been disrespected as a creative, as an artist, and as an actor by this man and I refuse to keep silent about it. The fact you want to talk to someone this way at the beginning stages of their career speaks louder than anything I’ve said. Here’s what lead to these emails and texts: My contract for acting classes ended in July. I was unsure of how classes went going forward. Was it pay as you go? Don’t have to worry about them anymore? I wasn’t sure so I wrote an email asking that very question. To which I got a phone call telling me I would have to sign another $2400 contract to continue with the classes. Not a pay as you go. Legally binding contract. Anna and myself talked it over and decided it was best for me to start back on my voice acting journey and maybe move away from on camera classes. Still would be acting classes (because as an actor you are always a student), but wouldn’t be through MTA. So I sent the email telling them that I wouldn’t be signing another contract…. I’m also sure Michael will have some smart little comment at the end since he can admit he is/was in the wrong. Do not take your kids or yourself to this place. There are many other places to learn from. Remember your worth and remember to not let some bully you. Ever. He’s mad I wouldn’t pay him any more money so I fired him as an agent.

So glad i didn’t waiste my time driving to come see this lady she is rude just like everyone says pretty much a old head tryna make money teaching classes got them to not get nothing in return.. this man just tryna make some money y’all he still think u have to be 6ft tall to model the old man has really lost it. But i honestly thought he was a scam… his instagram is wack content if boring. No production company behind him, no social media manager, no knowledge of new skills he is already a rude woman who like to look at cute men and boys preferably white. He use the African Americans to cover it up only letting certain ones in. The prices is crazy for no representation and it’s simply a waste of time. I’ve been told by 3 people he was a waist of time so please don’t be an example.

The knowledge I gained from him was invaluable and created so much success for me, both personally and professionally. I never had a problem with Michael Turney. He is very straightforward and expects a lot out of the teenagers who train with him, it is not all fun and games. The training is pricey, but I found it to be worth our time and money to learn. We weren't guaranteed anything. My daughter learned etiquette, poise and confidence that I could not have taught her.

I had twin boys that trained at The Michael Turney Agency.... The staff was very professional and was ALWAYS more than willing to work with me in any way possible. The year end review at The Strand was incredible! The work these future stars put in was evident and the leadership provided by Mr Turney was second to none... Our experience was very positive and I'd gladly recommend The Michael Turney Agency to others that may be seeking professional guidance and training
