Great local spot to stop in and ask some questions about my musical instrument.

Employees are very knowledgeable and willing to help. They have a nice collection of used instruments and vintage amps and speakers. Musical instrument lessons are offered here.

Always enjoy swinging by to see what's going on. Have to remember they close at 6pm Monday- Friday and 5pm on Saturday tho! They are closed on Sunday.

Parking is dicey as usual since it's The Village but we're usually lucky and get a spot on a side street. There's some parking right in front but it's always been taken. Walking is all good haha!

I live in the UK and whilst visiting San Diego for a holiday, went to Moze guitars in La Mesa searching for a replacement dome nut for my Gibson B45's trapeze tailpiece. Not only did I find what I was looking for (see picture of the repaired tailpiece) but I firmly believe to have found 'the best guitar shop in the USA'. All the staff were friendly, tremendously helpful and the shop featured dozens of amazing guitars and amps at very attractive prices. I walked out with two 'gratis' dome nuts and can't wait to get back to San Diego for a longer visit to Moze guitars, eager to repay the help and service I got from those wonderful guitar guys. Thanks Moze!!

Incredible place. You can get lost in the selection of guitars, ukes, and most anything with strings. I even saw a dulcimer there. Full repair shop with lots of accessories. The place is full of retro amps, pedals and speakers. The staff is friendly and professional. They know their stuff. They do music and guitar lessons too.

One of the best guitar shops I've been to. Not a very wide selection (at least for the guitars I'm looking for or interested in) but they have a lot of parts if you need any replacements. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly whenever I go to visit. This place definitely gets my 5 star rating 👍👍
