Teacher Rana is the absolute best! I started taking her classes with my son when he was just 8 months old. My son was immediately drawn to her fun and silly energy, and of course her Ukelele! Rana always created such a wonderful and welcoming environment in all her classes. She’d always end up teaching class with a child in her lap because they just gravitate toward her. My son is now 2 years old, and we still take Music Together because it’s been such a great experience for both my son and I. Rana is very knowledgeable in music and the benefits for children, and she really helps the parents understand those benefits. I learned a ton from her and she’s inspired us to incorporate music into our everyday tasks. She’s so patient and kind with the children, and soooo much fun! We wish she was still teaching in Berkeley!

Teacher Rana is amazing! She has an incredible natural ability of getting and maintaining my active 3-year-old’s attention. She is gifted musically and encourages my son to explore with sounds, instruments, and songs. She is patient, kind, and loving. Using hands on instruments, balls, and stretchy bands, as well as movement and visuals, she enhances the Music Together songs. This approach keeps my son engaged throughout music class. At home, he happily sings the songs he learns with Teacher Rana. I cannot recommend her enough.

Teacher Rana is Amazing! We had two toddlers in two music sessions with her and she’s just a natural. She is bright, musical, uplifting, and everything about her just make the kids, and adults, gravitate towards her. Her musicality flows wonderfully and you can just feel she loves what she does and enjoys sharing it with her class. Take her class, if there’s even a spot left, you won’t regret it!

Teacher Rana is completely enthralling and brings such a warm hearted energy to the class. We always learn something new from the class, even the adults. She emphasizes and explains different rhythms and meter. She seamlessly segues into the next song so no one is left waiting for the next one to begin. She is the best Music Together teacher we've had.
