We used Kevin for our wedding this January, and truly wanted a DJ that we could trust to avoid awkward silences through the formalities and to keep people on our dance floor. Kevin DELIVERED! We received so many compliments throughout the night and after our event - people loved our DJ. We put full faith in him and he did not let us down. On top of the fact that he is so easy to work with. We highly recommend working with Kevin!

Miguel was our DJ/MC for the night and there were some things he did well, but more things he did that I would say ruined the reception for us. The DJ/MC has one of the biggest roles, so when Miguel went off track, kept asking our already stressed brains our opinion on things he wanted to change, we didn’t feel like we were in good hands.

You start with a phone call meeting to go over a questionnaire you fill out prior. Important ones being song choices, do you want an unplugged ceremony, how long do you want open dancing to last, what games do you guys want to play, etc. We told him that we didn't mind guests using their phones during the ceremony since we wanted it captured through the eyes of our guests. Since our videographer lost our videos, these clips have become even more important to us. He announced an unplugged ceremony, so besides the very few that arrived late or weren’t fluent English speakers, most guest didn’t use their phones.

We also requested that open dancing be limited to 45 minutes, to shorten songs if they felt draggy, and to stick to our playlist. He said that he’s “good at reading the room,” and if he sees guests vibing to a specific song, he’d play more from that artist/genre. Open dancing lasted 1 ½ hours, the songs felt draggy, and he stuck to a generic playlist, most songs that I’ve heard over and over at every wedding. We had to go up and request songs that ended up being the most memorable dances of the night.

Miguel approached us a few times with ideas to make up for lost time, which made it feel like we were really behind schedule. He suggested we could do a game that rushes the table touches and that we cut out the games altogether. I had mentioned in the meeting that we want to dedicate 20 minutes to take individual photos with our guests. However, he made us feel that we were behind schedule, so we cut out all of it. The reception ended up feeling very quick-paced and robotic. Go cut the cake, go throw the bouquet, do your dance with your parents, and now the dance floor is open! Table touches, games, and photos were things that could have made the reception feel more personal and relaxed but were cut out for an extra 45 minutes of dancing we didn’t even want. Now we don’t have any photos with our guests and most guest left right when the dance floor opened. He didn’t hype up the crowd in any way and just played songs like any regular person could have done. We felt he didn’t thoroughly go over our questionnaire and try to understand us.

To add on top of everything, he used the wrong name for the bride.

I know his intentions are good, and one thing he suggested that we enjoyed was having a private couple's dance, which is why I'd give him 2 stars over one. It's hard not to be upset over things when you spend all this money for this one day that you won't ever be able to have again. For any bride and groom having their wedding, just be very clear about what you want, or have your coordinator or someone who understands what you want be the point person for any questions your vendor has. You are frazzled on the day of and won't be able to control everything and make the best decisions. You'll still have great moments that overshadow the bad ones! I just had to be honest about this.

DJ Kevin was amazing at my sons wedding!!! Everything we wanted and more! He set up a projector screen so my husband could sing to the happy couple! They were great!

Kevin was a fantastic host and DJ for our wedding last weekend! He was always professional, and had great equipment that made our day extra special. I loved that he provided a hands-free mic for our officiant, party lights for the palm trees, and he had the coolest DJ booth! He nailed the entire day, always playing our planned songs at the exact right time, and he even had to loop the song for our wedding processional and did a fantastic job (multiple people I talked to didn't even notice). Once the dance started, he really came alive, doing a good mix of requests and crowd pleasers! The dance floor was always full and everyone was having the best time! I would definitely recommend Kevin for any events you have!

Had the pleasure of working with Miguel through Serendipity for our wedding. Miguel was super friendly, and I really appreciated that he respected the do-not-play songs as well as accepted song requests as long as they were approved by either my husband or me. He worked with us to create a shorter version of our first dance very quickly and was very accommodating. Miguel adapts well with falling behind schedule on the night of our wedding. He got our guests dancing til the end!

DJ Kevro was absolutely fantastic and made our wedding day so special. Incredibly easy to work with and struck the perfect balance of playing our "deep cuts", while also having his finger on the pulse of the event and playing the hits that everyone wanted to hear. The music selection was unbelievable and his demeanor throughout was so calming to us, while simultaneously bringing so much energy to the event. He wasn't just pressing play, but actually mixing live and coming up with some of the most creative transitions and remixes. Highly recommend and couldn't imagine our day without him!
