Absolutely stunning!!! Nestldown did a phenomenal job for our wedding in October. We couldn’t have asked for a better day, it was flawless! Nestldown is such a magical venue that takes you away from reality and into a fairytale. Our friends are still raving about how this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to.
We first kept in contact with Diana who was awesome and was really great with communication & a quick response to any questions. Then we were assigned our wedding coordinator, Brigette. She was the perfect match for us. She made sure everything ran smoothly and was on top of everything! She really executed our vision of our special day. Missy was also great and a lot of the guests told me she was super helpful. Thank you Nestldown!!!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to photograph a wedding at the stunning Nestldown. This place completely blew me away! Nestled in the Santa Cruz Mountains, the surroundings are absolutely breathtaking, with lush gardens and majestic trees creating a fairytale setting for any wedding. The team at Nestldown did an outstanding job bringing the couple's vision to life, and everything flowed seamlessly. In my view, Nestldown is more than just a venue – it's a dream destination for any wedding!

As a wedding videographer, who is not exactly local, but have had the opportunity to shoot at this venue on many occasions, my team and I have always enjoyed the projects that we have been able to create here. Coming from the Central Valley, when I had my first wedding project here back in 2018, I said that this venue was one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have seen and even until today, I still say the same thing after working many weddings here through the years. Their staff is easy to work with and they always have everything on time. The similarly set schedules for the event day helps in creating a timely and familiar agenda for returning vendors. My team and I have been able to work with one of their preferred photographers, JJ Chen, here on many of the occasions. With the breathtaking scenery, this venue is definitely one of the premier venues of choice for every season.

A honest review from a wedding photographer.

I had my first wedding project at Nestldown back in 2013. I was madly falling in love with this place! I visited the site twice before the wedding, and that project also allowed me to win the ISPWP contest under the "venue" category. I have to say, because of my clients and Nestldown, they gave me the opportunity to grow myself and my team. Now, I have shot many Nestldown weddings in different seasons and different weather conditions. I embrace them all, and I am still madly in love with this place!

This stunning place is famous in the Bay Area. For this review, I want to talk about the people at Nestldown. Running a venue business in the wedding industry is hard, as you can imagine. It takes a ton of energy, money, and skillful people to maintain the property, from architecture to landscaping to transportation. Nestldown is always on top. I am impressed every time I step into this place. All the people who work there are professional, hardworking, friendly, open-minded, and genuinely happy! Every coordinator I have worked with takes full responsibility to organize the whole day wedding in such a seamless way with their efficiency and dedication!

As time goes by, I have become emotionally attached to this place. My team calls Nestldown our working home. The smiles, the warm hugs, the love we receive every time we work there, we can't find another second venue in the Bay Area that can match it. As a full-time wedding photographer who has worked in this wedding industry for 11 years, I will be honest with you: if you want to invest in the best memory of your wedding day, Nestldown is one of the best options!

Our wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. The redwoods, the train to happy hour, the beautiful grounds with the cottage and treehouse. It was magical. What truly made it the most special however was the staff. Joann was our coordinator and I don’t think we could have made it through the day without her. Everyone was kind, funny, and dedicated to giving us the greatest day ever. If I had even a mild concern it was immediately fixed. And don’t get me started on the 15 minutes they give you just to be by yourselves after the ceremony. One of the greatest moments. It’s hard to put in to words the full scope of how grateful we are to the staff at Nestldown. Our day wouldn’t have been nearly as magical without them.

We had our wedding in November at Nestldown, and it couldn’t have been more magical! Courtney, our coordinator, and the rest of the venue’s staff were so amazing. Everyone worked so hard to make our day flow seamlessly.

The location is so beautiful that it’s not an exaggeration to say I fell in love with it as soon as we walked out of the parking lot. I didn’t have a full vision of what I wanted our wedding to look like, but I knew I wanted it to feel magical and whimsical and I don’t know if we could’ve found a better place. The trees and gardens are gorgeous any time of the year and everywhere you look there’s some hidden treasure tucked away around a corner.

Aside from how visually stunning the grounds are, their staff and our coordinator really made it very easy for us to be able to plan everything without needing to hire a professional wedding planner. I was very overwhelmed with the idea of needing to find so many different vendors so I was really pleased to see that they had a required and recommended vendors list to choose from. It made it very easy to narrow down the search and we knew that if a vendor was on their list, it meant they had to be good so it felt like we couldn’t go wrong! A lot of the vendors on their lists have also worked tons of weddings together at Nestldown so they already knew each other and how to work well as a team.

We worked very closely with our coordinator throughout the year so when our wedding day finally arrived, we knew there wasn’t a single thing we had to worry about. Our coordinator took charge as soon as we arrived at the venue and made sure to get us from place to place on time and efficiently. Everything ran smoothly and every detail was seen to so all we had to do was enjoy ourselves and be present. The staff was also very attentive and were checking on us throughout the day to reassure us and make sure we had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time and all of our guests told us what a beautiful day it was and how much fun they had. Thank you so so so much to everyone at Nestldown! We hope to come back one day as guests so we can enjoy everything from the other side!
