Carey Nordstrand is a super-scientist of tone. Maurilio Mina (builder) installed a set of Norsdstrand NVT pickups on my Telecaster and a Nordstrand NP9.0 pickup on my Melody Maker, along with setup and cavity shielding on both guitars. The folks at Nordstrand are easy to get along with, great turn around times and top notch quality products and services.

So glad to have a place like this in Redlands. They are a one-stop shop for guitar/bass repair, mods, pickups, pedals and more. Carey is a great guy - talented and creative. Mo is a master in the repair shop and the prices are very reasonable. I've personally had set ups (truss rod adjustment, string height, intonation, nut filing), pickup swaps/upgrades in Strats and Teles, potentiometer upgrades, nut/bridge upgrades, tuner replacement/upgrades, fret leveling/dressing, full refrets, fretboard leveling, copper shielding, input jack repair/upgrades, selector switch upgrade to 4-way (tele)...just to name a few of the things they can do.

These guys genuinely care about the sound, playability and performance of your instrument. On top of that care and attention to detail, Carey and the team are great people and it's always a highlight when I get to drop in.

Very poor customer service… i wrote a 150 Word e-mail to their customer suppert asking about the nordymute product, and the responce was:”Why?”… I have responded with a reason to Them twice, in feburary and again a cupple days ago, still No responce…
