Accessibility: well right off the bat, the parking is a nightmare here. I looked for parking for one full hour until I found a spot about 3 or 4 blocks away and had to walk. As for getting inside, there is a pull door, then small inside, but a wheelchair could make it in.

Experience: besides the really bad parking, I loved this record store. They have older records and artists as well as newer ones from currently. From The Nujabees to Dua Lipa to death metal and classic jazz, they have it all.

Pricing: the newer artists and records are more expensive ($20-$50) and the older records are less expensive (a bunch of them $4).

I had a good 1st experience shopping there 6 months ago. But the other day, I showed up to a "be back in 5 minutes" sign. I waited for 10 minutes, & then gave up. Cool vinyl shop, but not so good an experience. I'll probably try again.

This place is awesome! I live in the area so I love being able to walk in and say hello to Caleb while picking up some great albums. I could easily spend an hour or two browsing for vinyl. The owner, Caleb, is great to chat about music with and can always help me find what I need or let me know if he can order it! I love recommending Normal Records to friends because it's a great shop with a good variety of new and used records, cds, 45sand cassette tapes. My boyfriend and I always make it a point to pop in when we can. Support your local record shop!

Excellent experience. I ordered online and they were not only responsive, but also friendly, honest, and very fair. It's easy for vendors to gouge you on shipping, especially for LPs. That didn't happen here. I'd happily purchase from Normal again if I can't find what I'm looking for at my local shops.

Been here a few times and I never leave without a great find! Records divided nicely into genre. The owner is knowledgeable and helpful. Not your snooty record store type ala High Fidelity...
I'll be coming back whenever I'm in North Park.
P.s. being right next to Belching Beaver doesn't hurt either 😉
