Barry has been in the business for a long time, which by itself shows you something. He knows what he's doing, and is funny, low key, and quick at the board. I've recorded audio there with a band, and he also does video recording. I've had him do transfers of old media as well, and he is set up very well for this. A very fun place.

I contacted Mr. S. about cassettes to digital (CDs), he quoted a price just for that but offered no other services (like adding breaks between songs). After the "finished" product delivered I asked about possibility of adding breaks. Price quoted. I sent more cassettes and made song/desired break lists with what I thought to be easy to understand with circles and arrows,etc. Then sent all desired CDs to add breaks to and payments along with instructions. All of the desired breaks were incorrectly added. Throughout this process from introduction to end this guy not easy to talk to or get along with. Most unprofessional in my eyes. He did send a refund check. Didn't offer a solution other than refund or me sending back the CDs/postage, etc.

Yo People, I recorded many of the tracks that went into my CD, Miles of BLU/MOB at Northern Lights Recording. Berry Chiffman was the music engineer at the board. Mike Clark of Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters is my music producer. He and Berry worked in great harmony together on Miles of Blu. Berry Chiffman is the top music engineer in the Santa Rosa area and beyond. Miles of Blu/MOB went on to chart on the Jazzweek music charts in the USA. A mighty hip thanks to Berry.
