I don't know how she did it! The journey did take awhile and we did have a lot of questions personally, but at each of the monthly meetings there were several other peers with similar and unique questions that got resolved as well! And then when we reached IPOP (the main event) everything was organized really well, the morning meetings were all the energy we needed for a long day of learning and fun and overall a very positive journey. Even at stressful times, Shelby Lynne always responded in a timely manner and didn't have us stressed for too long. Total blast of an experience and very fun for us and our kids. We didn't know where this journey would take our kids but after IPOP and seeing all their amazing work the one thing I can say is our kids were prepared for every step of the way. We enrolled My 6 yo son in NYLA and while I was a little unsure of the decision in the beginning, it has turned out to be the BEST decision! He has always shown interest in acting. Whether his funny voices and personas or dressing up in a different costume every day, he has been asking how he can become an actor. NYLA came around and we were concerned he would be too shy or scared. And he was shy and scared for the first couple of classes but with the training, coaching and encouragement of his coaches, he came right out of his shell and built the confidence to show up! Even his teachers at school asked what we were doing with him because they could see the confidence he was showing up with! That confidence transferred from acting to academics and he started to take more risks with learning and reading and he excelled so much in the last part of the school year as a result! What a great added bonus! He attended his showcase and truly shined and received an invite to iPop. I'm so impressed with everything NYLA brought to the table - from rehearsals to bootcamps to behind -the-scenes-support for this Mama's gazillion questions, this was a great decision for our family and I highly recommend them! Update: January 2024! Thanks to an NYLA showcase, our son Drew was invited to attend iPop December 2023. We just return and I have to share what a phenomenal experience we had! With the help and management of Shelby-Lynne, EVERYTHING was managed and organized so well in advance. I've never come across a more detail-oriented person! (exactly what I need given my busy schedule!). Shelby-Lynne and Amanda we super helpful leading up to the event and at iPop too. We felt so blessed to be there as part of NYLA's group and were confident that we were exceptionally well prepared! Coming from Toronto I wasn't sure what opportunities we'd have at iPop, especially because our work with NYLA was Drew's introduction to acting and modelling. But I'm thrilled to share that we've just signed a contract with a dream-come-true agent in Toronto for both Acting and Modelling. And we had a second, equally dream-come-true offer from another Vancouver based agent. And over 20 callbacks at iPop with many more meetings booked and contracts to review for representation in the USA. Drew won awards and was so thrilled with himself and was part of the Barbie Runway show at showcase too. Ms. Bridgett was phenomenal with the kids and put on such amazing shows! Coaches Connor Weil, Gabe Fonesca were awesome supports leading up to the event and Drew always loved working with Robert Vito for classes and we were so thankful to have him there as a support and coach too! Steve Roberts was a Godsend. Not only an amazing acting coach but his unique perspective as an agent too was such an asset. And he was just amazingly supportive and encouraging and reassuring. Drew was nervous and anxious and Steve's prep, plus the love and support of all the coaches and NYLA staff helped make iPop the most wonderful experience. As the callbacks and contracts have come in Shelby-Lynne has also offered herself as a resource and reviewed and helped understand and advise our next steps. This is so unexpected and incredibly appreciated. We didn't expect that and it's been a real gift having help as it's been an overwhelming amount of attention for a little kid from Toronto! Thanks so much Shelby-Lynne and team for everything! We made lifelong friends, the environment was supportive and fun, and this has been an experience we'll all cherish forever!

IPop was phenomenal! I enjoyed every moment of it. The long lasting memories and friendships we’ve encountered with coaches and others is so special. I am super grateful for both NYLA and IPOP. This is the best opportunity you can ever ask for. Got everything I wanted and loved every aspects of it. Love, live and learn always! Thank you so much for everything!!! I highly recommend NYLA Talent! We live in Canada, Vancouver, and my 5-year-old daughter attends their online acting and modeling courses, and it’s been a fantastic experience. She’s had valuable classes with instructors like Connor Weil, Robert Vito, and Steve Robert so far, where she’s learned a lot about this industry and truly enjoyed herself. My name is Ethan Idahosa. I am 8 years old and I live in Wintersville, OH. My performer number was #2020. My mom and I didn't know what to expect when we arrived Hilton, Anaheim for the iPOP event but I had one goal in mind, and that was to go home with an award. I did not expect 29 call backs...and 3 awards at the end of the event. Those were the best days of my life! I made new friends from various ethnicity. I loved the part where Ms. Shelby and Mr. Randy went over the daily schedules for performers at the daily director/performer meetings. I also loved the rehearsals with Natasha at the runway. I loved my rehearsals with Connor Weil and Robert Vito for my monologue/commercial, and I learned new skills. I loved my presentations and enjoyed the run way walks, but most of all, I loved the award night when my picture flashed on the screen and my name was called three times for 3 awards. I give all the glory to God and to my parents who made the journey easy. I appreciate the NYLA Talent team and iPOP team as well. I love Shelby for her commitment. I love IPOP! All of it! I look forward to what the future has for me as I discover more of my skills and how I could soar with them. It was all worth it! The stress, the time, the money, the pressure. It was all worth it!!!

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation for NYLA Talent. My daughter and I had an amazing experience, and we are grateful for the positive impact the whole NYLA Talent team had on my daughter's acting journey. My daughter was encouraged and supported by the coaches each week of rehearsals, which gave her drive to practice her craft. She gained a lot of education and enjoyed using the warmup techniques that was taught in class. We are so grateful for your outstanding coaching skills. As a Mom supporting my daughter through this experience for our first time, I would like to note that it went so smoothly because our go to person; Amanda was truly a girt. Her knowledge and expertise assisted me through out the entire experience. Thank you Amanda for your patience, your guidance, and your unwavering energy to answer my many questions. I want to take a moment to thank NYLA Talent & iPOP for such a wonderful experience of a lifetime for my 7yr old son Jayden. He completed his bootcamps with NYLA Talent and attended iPOP this Summer and got 17 call backs! with the help of Robert Vito and Steve Roberts, two great professional coaches in the talent industry, thank you both so much for your patience, dedication, support and believing in Jayden and all the other students.
