Happy place for the Octoberfest due to the lively show. Female toilet closed early.
First time to celebrate Octoberfest in California. Venue was small though and heaps of time lost in the queue to buy food and beer. Not much souvenirs to choose from to take back to melbourne.

The worst experience I ever had while celebrating Oktoberfest was at this place. The prices were astronomically high and did not reflect the quality of service we received. It felt like a complete rip-off. I suppose people visit out of curiosity, but once they discover what it’s really like, they’ll never go back.

My party and I were excited to enjoy the atmosphere, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor service. We sat at the bar for approximately 15 minutes without being acknowledged by any of the bartenders, despite the fact that we were clearly visible and the bar was not overly busy at that time. It was incredibly frustrating to feel ignored, especially considering the festive season and the anticipation of having a pleasant time.

I understand that busy times can sometimes lead to delays, but the lack of even a simple greeting or acknowledgment left us feeling unappreciated as customers. As a result, we decided to leave and will be reconsidering returning in the future.

Really neat experience in the Huntington Beach area. Food was authentic and very good. Only downside was that the food was pricey for how basic it was. Huge variety of beer to choose from. You can also bring your own mugs to drink from.

I encourage to visit during the week to miss the huge crowds on the weekend. They have German activities you can join or simply watch. Both are fun to do. Great experience here but pricing is geared towards tourism.

My wife, a group of friends, and I visited on a Friday afternoon. If I had known that online tickets were cheaper than those purchased at the window, I would have bought them a day in advance. Online tickets were $20 on Friday, but we decided to buy them at the ticket booth, where they cost $35.

The area was pleasant but very crowded. If you haven’t booked a table in advance, it’s unlikely that you’ll find one, as it’s usually fully packed with people. The table prices are exorbitantly high, and a glass of beer costs around $20, but if you pay in cash, it’s $18. The prices seemed excessively steep. A German sausage, “wurst,” is around $12, which isn’t too bad.

The dance floor and music were authentic and enjoyable. Many people were dressed in traditional clothes, which added to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a good experience, but I don’t plan to go there again next year. It’s the kind of place to visit just once.

The parking lot was large, but it was completely packed. We parked in the Costco parking lot across the street, while our friends parked two blocks away.

Beware - do not pre-purchase evening general admission tickets. There is no guarantee of entry, is a guarantee of at least a 90 minute line to get in, even when the place has more than enough standing room available. There is no assistance for those who do buy tickets in advance and then cannot get in. Even after waiting in line for more than 2.5 hours, there was no sign of getting in, no help from any staff members and no option to move tickets to a different date or get a refund.
It’s such a shame that Old World Village feels the need to stoop to such a scummy scam like approach to hosting an event.

On Saturdays its $40 plus just to get in, way over priced beer and food, way over crowded & no place to sit unless you pay hundreds to reserve a table. Forget it, this place is a tourist trap. Last night was the first and last time i'll attend this Oktoberfest.
