Beautiful little piece of history! Worth checking out if you are in the area, and the trails in the surrounding wild flower preserve are fun for the whole family. I plan to go back between April-October when the chapel itself is open. Wonderful veiws of the bay, and the chapel is very photogenic set in the hills as it is.

This is a neat historic church that offers nice views of the area. I didn't see inside. Parking limited. I wouldn't make a special trip just to see the church; however, incorporating other sites into the trip will make for a well rounded excursion - old train trestle display, old train depot, Blackie Statue, Lyford's Tower, Audubon House, etc. I incorporated seeing the church as part of a bike ride. Thus, visiting the church, seeing other sites and cruising the Tiburon peninsula made for a good day in the saddle. Note: if you plan on visiting the rail trail, it might be busy.

My partner and I stumbled upon this lovely hike when we were exploring Tiburon. The hike was fairly easy and the church is stunning. I would have given this area a higher rating if the chapel had been open and there was parking. We had to park in the neighborhood a bit away from the start of the hike. Once you get to the top of the hill, you have great views of SF and the surrounding bay. Worth the visit!
