Great selection of new & used vinyls, cds & cassettes. Found a few new Black Friday RSDs (Billie & Noah!) and a great 80s throwback. Thanks for the treats for our ween & letting us give Roxanne some pets. We will definitely be back!

We were strolling down College Avenue looking in the windows of different shops. We felt invited into Open Mind Music with it's colorful rainbow rug, and Dutch door open at the top.

There were large paintings and posters thoughtfully placed on the walls. Jazz was softly playing on the record player on the left side of the store. It felt so comfortable being their space.

We were greeted by Monica who was dressed in gently faded denim bell bottoms with a matching shirt. She looked like she had stepped out of the early 70s while organizing LPs in the oak bins. Everything looked orderly and clean. Some of the LPs were brand new, and others looked like they were barely used.

Great variety of genes, well organized and expansive selection. I was looking for vinyl but also seemed like a good selection of cds and cassettes too. This place is warm and welcoming to novice vinyl collectors too…can’t wait to come back!

Prices are $10-15 higher than other places. Store is clean and well organized. Got a little low balled on a trade with a reason of small scratches. That would not be a big deal except I was sold a used cd on the high side that, when I got home, had scratches all over it and skipped. Cmon man practice what you preach, geez!!

Good shop overall with cool folks working there that are knowledgable. Good selection of all genres. Just be aware that they price items on the higher side, and new sealed vinyl is continuously about $5 more than other shops. I like to support local so i still shop here but generally prefer other stores in the area.

Walked into this place after not finding what I needed at Amoeba. I was immediately floored by the quantity and quality of great rare wall records. The owner, I believe Henry, was very warm and welcoming. The shop is very organized and clean and does this cool thing where every record is described on a sticker. If you’re looking for a spot with both new and used releases, with both vintage and modern artist selections of Rock, blues, jazz, folk, country, etc, then check this place out.
