I must say. I was a bit apprehensive about this place. I read reviews from lowest to highest. A lot of the reviews stated that this venue was very church/cafeteria like. I found that that was wrong. Hoot and holler for your band all you want. You can take pictures but don't record. Fair enough.

So, the opening band was pretty stale. The 'lead' singer kept stating that they were a country band playing Blues. I felt that they didn't respect the Blues and, if they were country, why didn't they play country? If this is the house band, the owners should get a new one. The lead singer played harmonica. He had 3 harmonicas and couldn't pick the correct one for the songs be8ng played. The fact that he had these 3 harmonicas sitting loosely on the floor leads me to believe that he isnt a serious harmonica player. I can actually say that he isn't because, his tone was bad. I am sorry for my criticism but, I have been in the blues world since 2000.

Let's move on to the main show..DESOTO TIGER's TESTIMONY. What a breath of fresh Blues. Jason Ricci is a beast on the harmonica, the house band could take some lessons...the guitar players both, we're just amazing. The drummer was fantastic and the bass player was killer. This is a well put together band and i would come see them any day of the week. The house band, not so much.

Absolutely loved my first time here and will definitely be back. Very well run venue. Great sound and lighting. Great staff and snack bar as well. If you’re thinking of going, just go. You won’t regret it.

Cafe was a hit! Split a chicken salad sandwich with my spouse before going in. It was yummy. You can take food and drink in with you. Seats are really comfortable with cup holders. Intermission between sets. Small venue, so more personable. Really enjoyed!

1st time here, had no idea what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised. It's a great venue to see a band. The house band that was the opening act were very good.We saw Brass Transit and they certainly did not disappoint. We will be watching for shows we like and looking forward to coming back.

What a little gem off the beaten path! The venue itself has a fantastic sound system and is small enough that there's not a bad seat. As cool as that is...it's the people who work there that truly make the venue so special! Every single one of them were so friendly and happy and took ownership of this unique little venue! Seeing Ally Venable here was a dream come true!
