On the plus side, the teachers have all been incredible, everyone is very positive, and the learning material has been thorough and well explained, with plenty of opportunity for practice.

I have had a few miscommunications with the way scheduling works on taking a leave of absence (taking a quarter off) as well as changes to course material, however administration reached out to clarify, which was greatly appreciated.

TLDR - Good learning, great teachers. Administration will work with you on issues.
I can recommend and encourage taking courses here. Classes are very professional.

My young adult child took classes at Point Blank right out of high school and he had an amazing experience. He loved his instructors and his classes and will likely return for more training and instruction at some point in his developing music career. As parents, we also had many interactions with the staff at Point Blank, and they were always helpful and accommodating, especially Jay and Sergio. I would highly recommend Point Blank for anyone developing their skills and knowledge during their musical endeavors.

Don't sleep on Point Blank. Besides the engaging and cutting-edge programs, Point Blank is place where collaboration and community is at its core. I took an audio engineering program with absolutely 0 knowledge, but with the goal of being able to mic, record, and mix drums. I know have the skills that I've desperately been searching for to achieve a life-long goal of mine thanks to Point Blank. Outside of the incredible instructors, you learn so much from just being in the same building and interacting with other students. Truly a place that values its students and their success.

Care

Just started my first term in a year-long program. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They are wonderfully passionate about the school, the music and the students' growth and learning. Shoutout to Hail, the in-person academic advisor, who is so committed to making sure things run smoothly and to supporting us students in our success.

Point blank music school is in a class of its own as an academic institution. Its laundry list of world class alumni is astounding, I can see why many people speak so enthusiastically of campuses. For me it has prepared me as a producer a session with others or by myself. The instruction is clear concise and reviewable within courses which allow Musicians, Producers, and DJ’s with or without experience the tools to create.

Rate it for sure. Will surely be visiting the campus some time down the road incredible studios they have!

Point Blank Music School classes with teachers Mr.Gibson and Mr.Clay were amazing. Teachers are engaging, helpful, making the learning process super interesting and keep an individual approach.

I had gotten my degree with Point Blank London( online) and continued my education at Point Blank Los Angeles (online) with their DJ Skills in Depth program. There has been wonderful consistancy between the two. There are endless resources that are provided to students. The instructors are all fantastic and you can be confident that they know what they are talking about when they teach - that's because they are active in the industry! Be prepared to learn a lot and make great connections with both your instructor and fellow classmates (if you do online like me, I HIGHLY recommend making a class Whatsapp group - it will make your experience so much better and less lonely). Whatever you end up studying, you will have what you need to learn wrapped up in a nice little package.

Point Blank met me where I was when I arrived, and I am so grateful for everything I've learned. Teachers are excellent, admin is as well (shoutout to Hail). Such a fun and supportive environment to learn and grow and create, can't recommend enough.
