This is such a cool and neat place to stop by.
The village is awesome to explore and learn so much about the history of the lighthouse and its keepers.
Definitely a neat place to come with the family.
The lighthouse has 203 steps and the view from above is epic! Only costs $12 to get in and enjoy the entire village. They also have a really diverse little gift shop where you can get all kinds of goodies and gifts.

We stopped by on our way to the beach and I’m so glad we did! The grounds are considered a museum and you get to walk around through all the little buildings, which we thought was super neat!

We decided to climb the lighthouse, but just a few tips. We did not wear tennis shoes because we were going to the beach and honestly it was difficult in sandals. We climbed the 203 steps to the top but I just didn’t feel comfortable in the flip flops.

Also, I never knew I was afraid of heights until we were half way up the spiral staircase. My body started shaking and I was pretty afraid to have to climb down. There are platforms to stop at, in intervals while climbing, to pull off to the side for a break or to move out of the way because there is only enough room for one person at a time on the stairs.

The view from the top was amazingly beautiful! You can see so far and it was an experience I’ll never forget. It was very very windy up there though. So keep that in mind. It was a little scary for me, but it was so worth it.

We stopped at the gift shop in the way out and purchased a patch that says we climbed the 203 steps to the top as an accomplishment.

We had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone looking g for a fun and unforgettable experience!!

The views are so beautiful to see the sunset and show by the water or the beach. You have so many options. The trails walk through the trails by trails or fishing. Just a amazing place to go to get sun to go on a date or to meditate.

Great to do a tour a lot of different buildings to go into. They got a great gift store and if you can walk the lighthouse that’s great I did. I’m afraid of height, but I did it. It was scary, but I got to the top and it was AMAZING JUST AMAZING . You can also buy a brick that they place there they have all the old lighthouse lenses there that you can look at and see when they are built from gas to electricity to bulbs And then right across the street is a great little restaurant right on the beach that you can enjoy. I hope this helps you.. Don’t for get to get something at their gift store. They have a lot of different great things great prices and there’s also a little place where you can watch a video tells you all about it. Think it would’ve been really cool living there back in the day if you ever in Daytona Ponds in Lake, go there and enjoy.

This is really worth seeing, even if you don't climb to the very top! It has amazing out buildings, and so much history. The gift shop is full of very cool items to take back. I got an ornament, which is what I collect from everywhere we travel. It doesn't end there. If you walk across the street, and down the dirt drive, it's a museum of the family home of the people that sold the 10 acres for the lighthouse.

This little gem is a must see while in the Daytona area if you appreciate mariner and local history. We made the 4-5 mile trip with a rented golf cart and spent probably 2 hours there, but could have spent another hour or so.

Visit the historical hotel and grounds, nice little gift shop with passionate locals… and if you’re feeling brave.. trek up to the top of the lighthouse and view the spectacular lenses housed on the grounds… they were carefully and lovingly restored… including a gigantic restored lens that was sent to Ponce Inlet from a cape cod lighthouse (I believe).

But mostly, I was truly impressed and touched by the meticulous restoration and care of all the structures on both grounds (hotel and lighthouse) they did a wonderful job of pulling together the stories, photos and videos of their rich history. Every historical society and community across the country could take note with the dedication, passion and care dedicated to preserving this precious part of Florida’s history ❤️

We had a great time here on New Year's Day with the family. The exhibits are very well laid out, and the history here is fascinating. The lens exhibit is very impressive and really gives a sense of scale to what is going up way up at the top of the lighthouse. Speaking of which, climbing up the steep stairs to get up there is well worth it. The view is incredible on a clear day. For those out there with issues concerning crowded areas (like me), be ready for some close quarters while navigating around up there and on the stairs. It gets especially crowded on the west side around sunset.

Always a great time visiting here such amazing views and the museum gives great insight on how it was to live and manage a lighthouse back in the day. As someone who isn't afraid of heights it is quite scary to go up the steps but the views are well worth the Trek up there. Make sure to go on a clear day cuz you can see far and wide!
