I been living here for about a decade or so and each year the fair is getting better. This years Porterville fair 2021 was a blast.

One thing I wish they could’ve done better is to bring the old rides back like the fireball ride. As well as the crazy train and the zipper ride. But mostly the fireball ride. The manager poster the ride list on Facebook and it said that the fire ball ride was coming this year but I did not so that was unfortunate. But at least we still got to go to the fair. Can’t wait for next years Porterville Fair 2022

Very nice fair and fairgrounds …visited just about every fair the state has to offer and this one will go right up there with the rest of my favorites… wry enjoyable experience….so happy the fairs are back and going despite the triple digit heat, they have a large shaded area along side food court with swamp coolers and misters running to help beat the heat a nice place to chill out ….Big thumbs up to the Porterville fair

Love the woman that work in the fair office. They are great. I'm not sure what all the events they have throughout the year. Of course, they have the Porterville Fair, but they also hold other events. If you are interested in finding out, look on their website or give them a call.

Insanely expensive. Most of the ride attendants were very rude. They would completely ignore any questions and brush you off. We waited in line for an hour for 1 ride for our children to be told after their tickets were scanned that they could not ride then when mu daughter was asking the guy what is going on he was extremely rude and wouldn't even answer her and just pointed for her to leave the ride. We had to go request a refund of those tickets because they didn't do it right then. It was a horrible experience all they way around.

Good time. Cheaper beer then last time. $7 a 16oz vs $12 a few years ago. Good music. Pretty good rides. ALOT of food choices! MASSIVE corn dogs!!!! Worth a visit....if you can afford $12 per adult plus $8 parking....ouch! And thats before rides. $1 per ticket; rides very 4 to 8 tickets depending on kiddy or thrill.

It was a most wonderful scene, I've seen in a long time, well worth the 3-hour trip. The frost Fest was the most beautiful I've ever been to, it was freezing cold that night but the 3-hour drive to see it, was the most exciting beautiful scene ever!!!!! WOW,WOW THIS review is from Carol Wagner, they don't have enough stars above to give, of how beautiful this Frost Fest was!!!!

Went during the day on Thursday. Mainly to see the animals as our son is 2. The hours of operation say they open at 4pm so nothing is open. Only animals, some food vendors, and a handful of rides. But they still charge full price for entrance. Should really be half price since there really isn’t anything to do. The big exhibit buildings are closed until 4. Was rather disappointing to pay full price for only a fraction of the experience of the fair.
