Rob Roy, Paul Kronk & their staff offer amazing hospitality, services, equipment and expertise. The quality of the recordings and the process of getting them were second to none.

As a manager of a major label Nashville artist who resides part of the year in Florida, we have had circumstances where we get hit with massive bills and fees from other larger studios in Miami area just for taking a few photos and videos of our experiences at the studio.

Not only did the Power Station staff encourage our team to feel free to photograph and film during our two day lockout without any added fees, they even offered an intern to assist in getting social media content for our team. That is the kind of hospitality and service that you can’t buy in most studios.

We can’t wait to go back for more.

Honestly I had a difficult time working in this studio, but I was going through a difficult time after COVID and I broke my own rule: never work with anyone who doesn’t genuinely like our music. My apologies to one Sound Engineer, because he did a great job and my expectations were the same as they were in NYC. Fort Lauderdale isn’t NYC, but this is still a top-notch recording studio, professional, but no frills. It’s authentic.

I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve recorded three albums here. They have the capability for any style, any project. A wide variety of gear that could make any serious audiophile drool. Chief engineer Paul Kronk is attentive and efficient, and has a way of making the session fun and exciting. Rob Roy is always looking for new and vintage gear and is constantly upgrading the studio. Their board is the biggest and nicest I’ve ever heard, and they know seriously good session players for any instrument if you want to add some flare to your project. And even more, it’s incredibly competitively priced. Do your music a favor and record it here. 10/10 I recommend the whole experience.

My sons' band Nick Orr & the Spectrum have been to Power Station in Pompano numerous times. We have found Rob and Paul, our engineer, to be not only very nice people but very competent at their jobs. Paul has a great ear and is very intuitive when you try and convey what you want in less than pro terms. In addition, their equipment is first class, we love the big console.
