So, Kool! 45mph does seem to be a good speed. I didn't try any other speeds. It is just a strip on the shoulder side of the lane heading westbound. I had a little trouble staying on it. It is also a bit of a pain to turn around if you want to go over it again. The section with the rumbles appears to have been repaved, so the sound is clear. The little pictures are painted on it as well.

Pretty neat little experience. Was real close to the Palmdale Air Museum where the SR-71's are at, so we swung on by. The road is kinda beat now, but the tune played without a problem.

Really fun! We enjoyed driving this little musical road. Make sure you drive 45mph and that your passenger side tires make contact with the white symbols on the road. Enjoy!
