Fantastic Food, Views, and Service!

We had an incredible experience at Racing’s North Turn in Daytona Beach. The location is unbeatable—right on the beach with stunning ocean views. The atmosphere was lively but laid-back, perfect for a relaxing meal by the water.

We ordered the fish tacos, hush puppies, and coleslaw—all were absolutely delicious and fresh. A special shoutout to our waiter Ryan, who was friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations. He really went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.

This restaurant is not just about food—it’s rich in racing history and truly a unique Daytona Beach gem. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We’ll definitely be back!

I have always enjoyed North Turn every year during Bike Week by ordering BBQ Nachos and a Rum Runner along with other menu items! However, this year the Nachos had very little BBQ and no sauce! The other three in my group were very disappointed with their food also. The shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. The pictures are of the Nachos served in 3/22 versus 3/25. Very disappointing!

Dined in on Valentines day . It was busy . Everything was good. Food, drinks , service and atmosphere. They have a bar and all kinds of racing info. Has beach access and you can see and hear ocean from the outdoor but covered dining area, but tonight it was too cold.

I liked the place and the cheeseburger and fries was very tasty and cooked to my liking. They also have some memorabilia out front when entering and a couple rooms of pictures and things as well. Best reason for me at least is the outdoor deck has stairs that lead to the beach. Nice access and having a bite to eat or some cold beverage would be ideal with great beach view. The only thing that would be a minus is parking. Small lot and if busy I'm not sure where you would park. Otherwise still 4 stars

We enjoyed brunch here during a cool Florida afternoon. Lunch was tasty, as was the spicy bloody mary! Delicious medium hamburger and chicken and waffles. The keylime pie was good, too.

Since it was cool, there were heaters set up on the enclosed porch which were very welcome.

Ask for Ed. He's an excellent server who was patient with two ladies who hadn't seen each other in a while.

Race enthusiasts will really enjoy the memorabilia on the walls. Some great pictures of the sand and A1A racetrack!

We've been here several times, but this is the first try this winter. Place was very busy but we found two seats at the bar. I had the Grouper Reuben and my wife had the Vicki Wood Cheese Steak sandwich. The grouper was very tasty. The "reuben" parts seemed to go well with the fish. The cheese steak was reported to be tasty. Looking out at the huge full moon out over the ocean was a nice way to end the evening.

Update from March 2025: Came in with two friends during Bike Week. Still plenty of seating available for lunch. One friend had a chicken quesadilla that looked great and got two thumbs up. Other friend had fish tacos which looked great and got two thumbs up. I made the mistake of ordering the pulled pork nachos (which I had a year or two ago). These were terrible. I posted a photo. Basically a huge pile of chips with not much else going on. The pork was sparse and dry. I'll never order this again, but I will return for some of the other dishes.

This rating isn't due to the service. Everyone was very nice and polite and welcoming! The layout was cool, and the love music was also. The low rating is coming from the food... $150 between me and my husband, and it was pretty disappointing... I ordered a lobster grilled cheese, and the cheese wasn't even melted... They were busy, though, and we had already waited a while for food, so I just took it home to try and heat it/melt the cheese later... Not the greatest. The wings were good and pretty big, though, and the drinks were also pretty great. I don't know what exactly kinda fries or what they do to the fries, but I liked those as well.

Nice views of the beach. We went to this restaurant after a local recommendation and it did not disappoint. First, it is a really original restaurant with a lot of history (they even have their own mini racing museum). Second, the fish/seafood was extremely fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The grouper was flaky, the mahi mahi was well seasoned and not dry, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. I will come back if I am around Daytona.
