As someone who listens to cassettes a lot of record stores are frustratingly empty with nothing to look through except maybe one shelf or dusty cardboard box. This place had a SHIT TON (the good stuff too) along with a brain melting selection of vinyls and tapes that were organized extremely well which considering the sheer stock is extremely impressive. They also had hardware like stereos, receivers, and tape decks that were confirmed working and priced insanely well. If you like music shop here.

The record store has been an iconic piece of American culture for many decades. I'm glad to see it still alive and well at Rock and Roll Heaven. Everything vinyl and much much more, plenty of memorabilia from your favorite bands. Take a peek in the bathroom to see if your favorite artist has been there to immortalize their name on the walls

Today I was visiting Rock & Roll Heaven as I do every other week to buy some music on CDs and for my surprise, the lady who was doing my checkout to pay, said that two of the CDs were priced at $7.99. Long time ago, I was told by another employee from the store that all the used CDs without a price tag, are $5.00. When she told me that I have to paid almost 7.99 and 7.00 for the other, even with a broken jewel case, she said: “Well I can switch it, if you want”. I ended up leaving the two CDs behind because honestly, I can get CDs “Like New” from EBay or Amazon. It seems like my trips to Rock & Roll Heaven to Orlando, are just coming to an end 😞 We try to support the small business in our community, but we end up going back either to the big business companies or doing online shopping.

We took our boys here to show them what shopping for music used to be like and we had a great time discovering and rediscovering music from the past. They also have cool rock and roll shirts and our son found a fantastic Jimmie Hendrix shirt.

Absolutely love this place - it’s part record store and part museum. I happened to be wearing a Ghost shirt and they showed me the signature-covered bathroom where Tobias signed the door, which was awesome! We got some great finds and will definitely be back!

I’ve always wanted to go to this place and when I finally did, I was not disappointed! There’s so much to look at and see and the owners were very knowledgeable on all the media they had. One the owners noticed my shirt (from a recent concert) and we had a great conversation about the show. If you love music, you definitely have to check this place out 11/10!

Scrounging around through this place looking for old CDs is a bit of work, but a fun experience! There are tons of bargains in the $5 range, especially in the unsorted bins, as well as a crazy assortment of memorabilia crammed into every nook. It’s just a short walk from the public parking in the Ivanhoe shopping district if the parking spaces are full up front (but even then that seems to be rare). There seems to be a decent stock turnover rate and enough sheer volume that we’ve come away with some great finds every time we’ve stopped by.
