Nice selection of Greek foods, music, and culture. The church itself is quite nice. Our biggest disappointment was the long, slow lines that turned off many to just leave. It is still a great place to sample Greek food and culture. Admission was $5, but you got to come and go as often as you like. We went for two days to sample the different food offered. My favorite items were Greek pastries.

No pets allowed, NO THANKS.

This is a dog-friendly state & Brevard is the friendliest! This festival coordinator must have their head in the sand - Very out of touch with the demographic.

It's an outdoor event, on a weekend. People look for places where they can take their dog with them. What better than a festival?

I could not find any "no pets allowed" messaging online so assumed it was okay to bring mine.

I brought my 6-lb dog & a "dog purse" to keep him contained, but once my husband saw the "no pets" sign he decided that our money is better spent where we felt welcomed.

Such a shame. We'll spread the word ...

My experience:

We arrived early. Parking is in the "grassy" church parking area. Parking signs were hand-written "eNtEr" - Seemed cute at first.
Entrance & exit were the same area.

Opening times on Saturday varied, depending on which source people used. FB stated "Happening Now" at 10am, someone else saw 11:00am, & the event sign showed "12:00pm". The elderly in line at 11:15am weren't happy to think that they had to stand around for 45min.
The staff wasn't ready to open. They were still setting up when we walked up & had to find/open their till. They were in happy moods, but just not prepared.

There was no music. It was silent while we stood in line. The only way that you knew it was a festival was the flags staked into the grounds near the street & the tent where we all stood in line to pay.

Unfortunately, that was our experience.
My little dog is my child - I kept him cooped up all week while I was at work. I wanted to enjoy my Saturday with him. I convinced my veteran husband to join us. We got ready, dressed, drove over there & were not welcomed.

Oh well, there are several other places to spend my money this weekend.
I won't be back.

Best fest in Brevard County! It's a festival that reminds me of the many hometown festivals I enjoyed in Chicago! And it is very manageable in size with reasonable food prices too! St. Katherine's does a great job producing this annual event. I wouldn't miss it and this is only my second year at this festival.

Our 1st time visiting the Greek Festival. We enjoyed some really good genuine Greek food, music and deserts. Parking can be difficult. But we had a great time.
