Me and my girlfriend had a great private salsa class with Sal! We will be in Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks and he gave us a crash course on the basics of dancing. We learned a lot, but more importantly, Sal was very kind and we had so much fun. This was a perfect birthday date for my girlfriend and she was very happy.

Sal is the BEST dance instructor in DFW! I have gone to over 5 different instructors classes and his is the best. Sal has such a good energy, extremely kind and his dancing skills are top notch! I did group classes with him and am now doing private classes. It’s the best private class I’ve been to! My skills have significantly improved and I tell all my dance friends about his studio and classes. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in learning how to salsa/bachata or would like to improve their skills to call Sal and set up private classes!

Long story short I found Sal's Studio through google after seeing Cumbia a few weeks before. Walked into my first Bachata group class having never taken a dance lesson or really knowing much about the style, and immediately felt welcomed.

Sal, Orlando, and Lyndsey do a great job at creating a positive vibe environment while also knowing how to help you improve from any skill level.

I went in with the sole purpose of learning how to partner dance the latin styles, and in the process I have met a lot of great people.

Excellent instructors, studios, and community, 5 stars.

This was such an amazing experience! My husband and I went to the level one salsa and bachata class led by Sal. He is an amazing instructor who took the whole class through the basic movements and into dancing with music. He made it so fun and inviting, keeping everyone engaged and included. The music he chose was upbeat and fun and his instruction was clear. We will definitely be coming back!

I have been taking classes with Salsabysal since October 2010. I love every aspect of it from learning new moves, meeting new people, going out dancing to making friendships that last forever. To me, taking salsa and bachata classes with Sal started as a hobby and became my extended family. The vibe is great in classes and Sal is an experienced and very entertaining instructor. He travels around the United States and takes workshops with the best in the industry and brings it back to teach his students. He is a very fun person to be around and never stops dancing! You definitely need to check out his classes!

I have always enjoyed social dancing, and recently I got the itch to try some formal salsa dance lessons. I decided to try Salsabysal after reading the Google reviews, and I'm sure glad I did! I've been going to Salsabysal for about a month now. Since day one, the instructors have made me so comfortable and they have turned what would normally be an intimidating situation into an exciting new venture. I would highly recommend starting with the private lessons. They gave me a great jump start before joining the group classes. My private lessons were mostly with Karla, who is a wonderful instructor! She was capable of teaching new things in such an efficient manner that I never left a class feeling like it wasn't worth the money. Sal was usually around to help with the men's styling/technique. Sal can explain the men's styling by breaking it down into such simple steps, that it usually "clicks" and that light bulb comes on. Within two weeks, I was out at the salsa clubs.

Sal leads most of group classes, and does an excellent job teaching and making it fun. It's a chance to learn, and practice with other people. You constantly rotate partners so that you get a chance to dance with multiple people (which is important since everyone dances different).

The social atmosphere is great! There are many opportunities to practice, other than just the classes. Sal is constantly inviting everyone out to the clubs after the classes, and usually a group of around 15-20 show up. There are events, cookouts, birthday parties... I feel like my social circle has grown tremendously in the short time I've been there. It has been so much fun, and now I keep looking forward to the next time!

Absolute best salsa studio everrrrr! Just about the best people you’ll ever come across. I moved to Dallas from Miami and quickly found my second home in this studio - I literally never leave lol. I’ve learned sooo much in such a short span, the instructors (Sal, Haley, Lindsey, Orlando) are amazing dancers and the sweetest people! The environment/energy walking in the studio is what keeps so many people coming back. So fun if you’re thinking of joining a studio it’s this one 100% 🙂

I've always loved salsa and bachata. Always wanted to dance like the pros. I'm glad I signed up! All the instructors are awesome, friendly, and they can teach! You can learn something from all of them! They make learning fun! I would highly recommend to go to Salsabysal!!!
