Beautiful venue and the sound system great. I truly appreciate the SF Symphony Orchestra holiday event featuring Boys to Men. Fabulous show. The venue had plenty of clean restrooms, and the staff working the event during the show were friendly. I appreciated the security, and I felt safe.

Great performance for an opening gala. But what a disappointment that there was no after party. For us, it was the first time in 30 + years going to the gala. Okay there were some drinks and also nice vegetable bites, but nothing that could forgive no dancing! Symphony we hope for better times!

Very good audio theater. The listening experience is amazing. The entire theatre is sparkling clean including seats, walkways, restrooms. Checkin and ticket picking process was easy. There are lot of people to help you find your seats.

There are lot of seating outside as well to sit and relax. Overall the timings of the shows are followed perfectly. We attended an ensemble event. Booking the show was an easy process. We can change seats(if available) during intermission.

I suggest to purchase the parking from their website during the checkout process so you can avoid searching for parking spaces. Overall a great experience.

Drinks, food are not allowed inside the theater. Mobile phones be silent because any small sound will be heard by whole auditorium.

Everything is so beautiful. The symphonic is spectacular, the audio quality is perfect. And the building is impressive. I try to go once a month because I need a sound bath for my soul, this is the perfect place

My third symphony hall experience, this time at Davis Symphony Hall, left me with mixed feelings. Having previously attended performances in Berlin and Sydney, I found the price-to-value ratio at Symphony Hall to be disappointingly high.
The performance itself was undeniably great, showcasing the orchestra's talent and partially redeeming the evening. The musicians delivered a polished and engaging rendition that demonstrated their skill and dedication.
However, the overall experience fell short of expectations, especially considering the steep ticket prices. The seating arrangement was less than ideal, with visibility and comfort issues that detracted from the performance.
The intermission service was particularly disappointing. We pre-ordered a small bottle of Laurent Perrier champagne for $68, plus a 20% tip, only to be served in plastic cups on our reserved table.
While the musical performance was commendable, it didn't quite measure up to my experiences in Europe and Australia. The combination of high prices, subpar seating, and lackluster amenities made for an experience that, while not entirely negative, fell short of justifying its cost.

This is one of the great institutions in the city, and deserves to continue to be funded maximally. Each and every musicians here delivers awe inspiring performances that leave me amazed each time I attended. Iā€™m looking forward to many more years visiting the symphony.

If you want to enjoy the music I highly recommend to look at the seating map and get something with a clear view. Dont book anything on 1st tier if it is on far right or far left as your view will be partially blocked . Pay 100$ or more and get a seat at the bottom section. Other than that hall was beautiful and I had a great experience . Dont over think about how to dress up as most of the people were very semi casual and I was one of the few people properly dressed . 95% of the crowd was older or above the age of 60. Make sure to turn off your cellphone or keep it on silent šŸ™‚
