Parking and entry/seating was easy while attending the California High School Masters Wrestling Tournament. Staff, Volunteers, Security and anyone else involved were professional and helpful. Love it there and hopefully will be back next year...

My boys Wrestle and attended a tournament at Selland Arena. The arena was easy to access from the streets and lots of parking. Also, even though our event was in the dark it was easy to get around the inside and bathrooms were always clean and maintained.

Califrnia Central Section Masters wrestling championship and you close seating in front of mats 1 and 2 where people are wrestling and open seating in front of mats 9 and 10 where no one is wrestling? Who completely failed that logic test? People want to see their kids wrestle we aren't worried about more seats farther away from the wrestlers. Do better.

We were in town for the 2-day 2024 Central Section Master's wrestling tournament.
I'll get the bad part out of the way. Bummer about the location. That area is nasty. But then, I guess I don't want a sports arena in my neighborhood either.
Now, the good parts.
From the young ladies at the ticket booth for parking that actually had nice personalities and a sense of humor, all the way to the guy that cleaned up a kids ice cream Dippin' Dots of the stairs, it was a pleasant experience.
The ladies at the ticket tables were friendly and patient. Some older folks can't handle the electronic ticketing, so they helped them out wonderfully. The guy that handled the hand stamp both days kept "scanning" me with his cell phone. I think he was stealing secrets from me. He was very friendly and humorous, both days.
The people at the concessions, though everything was way overpriced and they were understaffed, were friendly and polite, both days.
I've been to several arenas in my 62 years, and this group was easily the best. They took their jobs seriously but not themselves. Bravo to the people hiring this group and, of course, to the group itself.
The tournament was run by people who knew what they were doing. I think that was CIF, but you evidently work well together.
I'm looking forward to another event at this venue.
