Just had our oldest daughters wedding there this weekend and was possibly the best venue that anyone could ask for the house is beautiful and the owner is a godsend. Definitely will be back and Highly recommend anyone to use this place. Kitchen was fully furnished. As well as bathrooms and bedrooms. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Settles Point is a very large event facility that has beautiful marble flooring, huge bedrooms equipped with king sized beds, couchestsitting rooms, full ensuite bathrooms plus half baths, 2 kitchens, fits up to 150 guests, large grassed outdoor space for putting up tents & enjoying any event. Great pricing too! Mrs. Settles is a very sweet lady & the owner. Views of the lake & big Texas sky. Beautiful breathtaking sunsets are easily viewed.

I can't say enough about Settles Point. It is such a gorgeous property with amazing views. We booked the property for our wedding and we stayed all the nights. We had all of our parents and out of state guess taken care of. We actually had people bunking with everyone cause they didn't want to leave and it made it that much more magical of a weekend. Carol is a wonderful lady and was so accommodating to our every question. He son helped take care of us while we were there and answer any additional questions. The huge venue made it possible for so many people to be there and not feel crowded. We had so many options for the ceremony and I fell in love with the front. DO NOT think the road will at all compromise your day. One music is going and the ceremony starts it completely disappears. Having breakfasts and lunches and dinners all together was super special thanks to the large kitchen and table. We highly recommend booking this for the whole time. Being able to set up and enjoy you time is so worth it. Makes your time that much more special. I HIGHLY recommend Settles Point for any family function you are having. I can't wait to plan our family reunion now that our wedding is done.

We went to our first Winofest! What a great event! The vendors were informative, friendly, and fun. Great variation of offerings for all manner of taste in wine. The only thing that would make it even better is perhaps a map, leading you upstairs and around to vendors, knowing where to go for what. I think we caught them all, nonetheless! We are excited to attend, again, and encourage many more to attend.

Went for Texas winos. The event was fantastic and the house itself is very nice, but the management put an awful taste in my mouth. I had left my wedding ring and I called the number on the website. Got voicemail 3 times. If I owned a venue, I would A. Not put my personal number and then complain when people call it. Or B. Actually answer it if I were going to do that. When she finally did answer, she said nobody was there anymore (8:23). The event ends at 9:00… when I told her we just left, she said she would suggest returning.. what a novel idea. I was already on my way there. I was calling ahead. I arrived and someone had found it thank God. Carols first advice was to “try again tomorrow.” Thank god I didn’t follow that advice. What kind of owner doesn’t know the status of their own venue.. I’m just super disappointed. Glad I got my ring back though. No thanks to carol..

What a special place to have a gathering! We celebrated my father’s life and had such a lovely family weekend! The house is beautifully appointed and super comfortable to have breakfasts and dinners with the whole group. I would highly recommend this venue for a family reunion, wedding or celebration of life!
