Sam, in short, is the absolute man! I’ve recorded with many different people at many different studios and Sam/Sonic Bloom is hands down the best experience I’ve had recording. He truly cares about his work and wants to make sure your vision is brought to life. Not only does he give a quality product that is worth every penny spent, he ACTUALLY gives feedback, ideas, and willing to make a tough call if it means a better result in the end. Literally no other studio or engineer that I’ve worked with has given this level of service and for that alone I think is worth spending the money here over anywhere else. Stoked to make more jams here in the future and stoked to see Sonic Bloom grow!

Sam Hammond is the next breakout engineer/producer in the Bay Area, no doubt. His knowledge as an engineer, musician, and songwriter is top notch, and he is committed to making everything coming out of Sonic Bloom sound the best it can possibly be. A true professional, and the nicest guy you’ll ever work with. I can’t recommend Sonic Bloom enough!

Sam is a master of his craft. He’s produced 3 of my songs and each better than the last. It blows my mind how he’s able to take my vision and execute it seamlessly. He’s great at making his clients feel really comfortable and the environment in the studio is always calming and fun. He’s knowledgeable and extremely detail oriented which makes for high quality music. He really is such a talent and I can’t wait to continue making music with him! :-)

Sonic Bloom was a pleasure to work with. The studio was very professional, clean and friendly. Tons of rad gear! Sam is the jack of all trades. I went in to work with him knowing he was a badass recording engineer. I didn’t realize his strength as a producer. He’s the master of song structure, and has an incredible ear. He will literally take your music to the next level. Love this dude.

My band went in to record our first single with Sam at Sonic Bloom for 3 days. We came out floored with the amount of production quality he was able to produce and made us sound more professional than we could’ve ever imagined. He made us feel at home, was beyond patient with us and contributed amazing ideas that elevated our song to its peak potential. 10/10 would go back and will be returning in a heartbeat.

Sam is incredibly professional and capable, with an extensive collection of gear and experience to boot. This is a very welcoming space that is run by a very talented producer.
