Ms Lindsay teaches the "preschool creative dance" class for 2.5-3.5 year olds. She is INCREDIBLE. The instructor involves lots of pretend play dance (example: "we're going on a bear hunt," and "we're going to the moon") which keeps the kids interested and teaches them to follow instructions. She also manages to sneak in technique and the kids really learn it! My son definitely has first position down and several other important beginning moves. Most importantly, I can tell that he is developing a love for moving his body to music. The recital experience is amazing because you rent your costume, the dress rehearsal is during the class time (awesome if you're working like me and can't take a whole day off for a dress rehearsal). My son had an absolutely amazing time overall and we are enrolling him for another season. I'm very grateful to have found this place! If you have a little one, I strongly recommend it!!

Stagelight is an amazing studio. They offer so many dance and acting classes that my daughter loves. My daughter has been with Stagelight for over 6 years and we have never had a bad experience. The owners and instructors truly care about the students and work hard to help them excel. It is very family friendly. Would highly recommend!

This place is an artistic gem! My daughter has been going to Stagelight Performing Arts over two years. Great studio, great owners, great teachers, great staff, great parents, great kids! They are all caring, positive, nurturing, encouraging, and talented. My daughter takes dance and vocal classes and loves them! She has also enjoyed some of the other classes they offer. We chose this Studio because we were not looking for a cut throat competitive environment. We want her to enjoy the experience and develop friendships with people who shared her same artistic interest. This studio allows her to prepare herself for any opportunities that may come along in her future, and at the same time love what she loves to do. They work with you and allow you to come into your own. There is a very family like feeling. The instructors are knowledgable and a class act. They offer a fun and safe environment. I strongly recommend Stagelight to anyone looking for a great experience in Dance, Vocal, Music Theater, Acting, etc. for their son or daughter.

Be aware of their drop out policy, they need a month notice in advance, otherwise you end up paying for the month even when you don’t want to come back. When I explained to the “manager” that my 5 year old is not liking the class and I forced her to come to the classes, she said she was sorry, but that’s our policy. I explained to her that my daughter only started 2 weeks ago and I couldn’t submit a drop out before then, she said “sorry, that’s the policy”. You can’t make your kids come or do something they don’t like.

Our toddler (age 2.5) started dance class with Miss Katy last month and we are in LOVE. Class size is small, thank goodness because those toddlers are active! Miss Katy clearly has lots of experience and loves her job. Our Shirley is well cared for, LOVES going to dance, and is learning a lot. We are Stagelight's newest and biggest fans 🙂

This place is such an amazing team! I go here every Tuesday night for improv classes. Before I have taken many classes such as tap, musical theater and much more. Staff here are great and really sweet I suggest you to take a trip if you are interested in performing arts and take a class!

Great talent teaching children many different styles of dance and acro. Very organized and family run. Kind people always with the school and kids in mind. Not about the money.
