Warm, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. A vast array of music in all genres. Think of any format (music or video), and you will find it available, or they will order it for you. Domestic, imports, and collectibles galore in brand new or used condition. The key points that set Streetlight above their competitors are the amicable attitude of the employees followed by the extremely reasonable pricing of their stock. The store is extremely clean, well lit, and family friendly. Parking is vast and generous with ample room for disabled visitors. I've been shopping at the Bascom location since 1985 and have never been disappointed. Buyers are always on hand to consider items brought in for cash or trade credit. Large collections are welcome, but prior arrangements should be made by phone or email before visiting the store. 💥💥📀💥💥

Love this place & have been going here since the 80s! Plus all the employees rock! Super cool and chill, plus their attention to detail(s) is simply unearthly!

For example, Chris legit remembered a Van Halen box set that is out-of-print I wanted last year (2023). when a copy came through ( October of this year, 2024), he gave me a call, and I picked it up! Most folks would have forgotten or not cared; but not Chris, he def went an extra mile or two, and that is why Streetlight is my def go-to record store!

Been digging through bins at Streetlight Records since the early 80's (starting at the old location, a converted house further up the road!) I have found many, many musical gems at Streetlight and happy they are still going strong after all these decades! As an added bonus I noticed on my last visit they have drastically increased the vinyl section! That's a big plus for us old music geeks!

I've been coming here since the early 90s. It's still the best place to shop I hadn't been in years, when I went back everything is still in the same places that I remember it's so cool. It's as if time hadn't passed by at all

awsome record store with wide selection of CD's DVD's and Vinyl new and used. love to go there to browse for the next vinyl. Its always organized, clean and great music playing. definitely check it out if you are in the area. parking is plenty in front of the store.

I always leave with one item whenever I stop by! The store has a lot of space and is easy to get to from the freeway. The only qualm is the parking lot is not ideal with the potholes, but just drive slow and you will be fine. On the few times I’ve needed something, the workers were helpful. High recommend if you’re trying to pass time or rediscover artists you’ve forgotten about.

If you collect music on vinyl, or CDs, or DVDs and BluRays, this place is a must stop. There's a mixture of used and new to choose from, though the selection of used media dominates the store. I held myself to 2 hours in the store before forcing myself to leave. I could have spent at least twice as long browsing the place. Sadly, I live many states away or I'd haunt this place on a much more regular basis. At least now I have something else to look forward to the next time I come out to visit family.
